Well, okay, I haven't gotten far enough into SMRPG to really decide where it belongs, but so far I'm not a fan. But yeah, you've got the Paper Mario trilogy in the right order.

Superstar Saga is my favourite of the bunch, if only for the amazing amount of damage you can deal once you get to Fungitown.

Also, I played the first Paper Mario, got bored. Tried a second time, got to about Chapter 5, got bored. Not tried a third time yet. is it worth going in for a third effort?

Paper Mario trilogy is in the correct order, but "> SMRPG" is always a dangerous route to travel down. A less controversial order, IMO:

SMRPG >= TTYD > PM >> SPM
