Seriously consider giving ZZ a chance. It's really good and has some really good arcs to it. Once they get to Earth, the show goes from being good to being great.
Plus Judau is one of my favorite protagonists. Just finished episode 37 of Seed. SPOILERS Panama battle was so rough even that idiot Yzak thought ZAFT was acting out of line. That said, Cagali and Mwa are still my two favorite characters. So I just got Mobile Suit Extreme VS in the mail and its quite fun so far.
I played it a bunch at a friends house once which is what inspired me to watch more Gundam series. It's a 3D 2 v 2 (though can be 1 v 1 if you want) Fighting game with a whole bunch of Mobile Suits throughout the series Her'es a video of a fight: Sadly it's Japanese-only but it's decently easy enough to navigate. Maybe people with PS3s and online can get this game and play with me! Just beat Infinite Stratos
I can see why people thinks this sucks. It has a bad "lead" girl. Most of the other girls are enjoyable though. I love Cecilia, because it's Yukana and she's the most moe of the bunch imo. The story or whatever semblance of a story this show had was just disappointing, but I guess the main attraction are the girls. Rinne was GARUNTEED two seasons back when it was greenlit.
We're getting more Rinne, probably in the summer. And I liked IS. I thought the lead was fine, and I did enjoy both Charlotte and the German quite a bit. A couple of notes: Andrew is back huh? I'm okay with this. If Kira can get blown up and magically end up on a space colony with his bff's fiancee, I can buy Andrew coming back as a dude with one arm and one eye. It's kind of convenient that each side has a space ship in Kira's fleet. According to Nikkei MJ, the rating of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE has been hovering around the 2% level. Although the main target of the TV series is preteen boys, the rating among the kids sometimes goes down to zero. Bandai has been aware of the unpopularity of Gundam AGE among kids and have tried to identify the reason by conducting a questionnaire. What they found from the survey was that kids today are unfamiliar with wars and space colonies. To draw the attentions of those kids, Bandai featured scenes at school in Asem's Arc, but their attempt failed to obtain the expected result.
Despite the failure of Gundam AGE, Ueno Kazunori, the President of Bandai Namco HD, has been keeping his composure with the business. At the beginning of this year, Ueno encouraged the disheartened staff of Gundam AGE by saying, "Don't be in panic." The reason for his calmness is the favorable status of the whole Gundam sales, which has grown by 18% year-on-year. The increase is mainly attributed to the success of Gundam Unicorn. Bandai Namco HD will expand the business by coordinating the subsidiary companies taking advantage of the popularity of Gundam Unicorn among fans in their 30-40s.
