I've decided to buy a Genoace Custom and G-Bouncer to honor Woolf.
Anyway, the last couple episodes have been pretty good actually(29-31). Minimal Fllay. Some pretty emotional deaths. My only question: How the hell did Kira end up with Lacus after Athrun self-destructed? I think both of these were made a little before/after Do You Remember Love. Macross 7 Dynamite is an OVA you're missing. And finally, after Macross Prus there's Zero and Frontier/movies to round out the franchise. But definitely start off with SDF. But on to the point about Gen 2 not living it up, I agree with you. I find Asemu to be a little more annoying than I can handle. Definitely find Gen 1 to be better in terms of protagonist. I've heard this Gen is supposed to be ending soon as well. Looking forward to male Romary.

You should definitely watch the original trilogy!
Don't need to watch the MSG tv series, the three movies should be enough. Zeta is a must watch, you can hate it but it's pretty much the most important of the original trilogies. ZZ is ok, you don't really have to watch it to really get most of the newer shows since not many try to emulate it. But I highly reccomend you burn through ZZ even if you think it sucks, because it helps set up Unicorn, which is pretty much one of the finest things I've watched. Other than that you don't really have to watch the others like Victory/X/etc since no one likes to talk about them for some reason! -- caps ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yea you definitely need to watch MSG/Zeta/ZZ + Char's Counterattack to fully appreciate Unicorn. There's an insane amount of references to the older stuff that you'll mark out hard if you understood them!

Agreeing with Granzon that to fully appreciate Unicorn, watch 0079, Z, ZZ, and CA.
0079: One of my favorite shows ever. It's definitely a 1970s show, but I personally love it. I prefer the series over the movies. The movies seem a little too "cliff note"ish to me and the soundtrack isn't as good, but it's still not a bad experience. Zeta: The heart of the UC, IMHO. Another fantastic show, though most people seem to hate alot of the characters. I personally liked all of them >_>. DO NOT WATCH THE FILMS. They're not a good substitute. They're not even a good cliff note version. Some of the most important and iconic scenes were removed, including what is known as Char's Dakar speech, which is a turning point in his character development ZZ: Most people hate this show. It has a lot of corny slapstick humor. I thought it was fun though. Some great MS designs and great characters. 08th MS Team and 0083 Stardust memory are just so awesome. 0083 in particular is like eye porn for the Gundam enthusiast. Probably the order he watched it in, knowing Granzon.
As for how I watched it.. I watched Wing and 08th MS Team when they were on Toonami, along with most of 0079. A few years later, I watched pieces of Seed when it was on, but didn't care for it. Then, since mid September I've been watching the franchise in (approximately) production order. I just need to finish Seed, and then watch Seed Destiny and I'll have watched everything. It wouldn't be so bad if Asem's gen was a full series, but we only have like 3 episodes left according to rumors (plus the fact they're already pumping out gen 3 promo stuff). So yeah.
I guess that is my problem with AGE. The pacing is weird and it feels like they mismanage what time they do have.
