Why would you break a game?

And those who did it accidentally how? I have a hard time figuring out how you can accidentally break a game except maybe by dropping a cartridge into water.

When I was little (seven?) and lost to a computer in Pokemon Stadium 2, I took the game out of the N64 and slammed it on the floor as hard as I could. Now the game doesn't load after the N64 logo.

Have your PS2 fall off the shelf with a game in it and you will know how games break accidentally.

I've had my Wii fall off a shelf and the game inside was intact, heck it kept running even after the fall!

It wasn't working anyway. I glued some games that didn't work but the result wasn't particularly fun, useful, or artistic.

My friend had a broken copy of Rock Band 1 (Absolutely would not run), so we cracked off a bit of the disk and made it into a trophy.

I was playing Pagemaster for the Gameboy. I got mad because I couldn't get past one of Adventure's stages. I pressed on the screen a little too hard. Crack. The LCD screen turned into a nice black and green spiderweb.

More recently, I was playing Spirit Tracks. Kept dying, so I clicked it out, chucked it against the wall, which was apparently enough to destroy it.

Scratch a disc... drop it on the floor and step on it.. there are tons of ways.

I'm careful with my games and haven't broken one but I can see how it could happen.

My best friend was playing Mortal Kombat 3 with his older brother and he kept beating him.

The older brother was getting mad and when my friend beat him while holding the controller on top of his head, it became to much for the brother to handle. He picked up the nearest thing and threw it against the wall.

Unfortunately, that thing was their Shining Force cartridge.

That's the only time I have ever seen a game being broken.

I also saw someone (one of my friend's other older brothers) simply just snap a PS2 controller in half while playing God of War. I think he was doing something where he had to jump from platform to platform and he kept falling.

Because Wii uses a drive. I don't quite remember, but doesn't the PS2 use a tray? Like the 360 and Xbox? Go move a 360 while a game is running and hear it as it gets destroyed.

In 2005, a friend of mine destroyed probably half his collection because they had some type of inappropriate (to him) content. Five years later, he finally regretted doing that.
