I've always thought it was stupid when people say that a developer was "lazy" in regards to something in a game. Obviously a lot of effort goes into working on a game, even the small things.

But there's really no other way to describe this. All 6 endings are identical. It's...embarrassing.

I have read that. I still think people are overreacting. They didn't screw me, they delivered an amazing game with a disappointing ending. It happens.

And believe me, I've thought through the ending and realized just how many plot holes it has. Guess what? Still don't really care.

Besides, there's that whole indoctrination theory floating around. Could be wishful thinking, but it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

If that happens, it'll be in the DLC. There's plenty of evidence to support the "Shepard's indoctrinated and trippin' balls" theory. It's all circumstantial but there's an awful lot of it.

Honestly, though, I got over my disappointment with the ending in about ten minutes. Then I started the game again with a different class and I'm having a blast. The game's still incredibly fun regardless of how it ended.

How bad are we talking here? Are we talking Star Ocean 3 spoilers bad? I'm getting that kind of vibe from this topic?

Bioware purposely cut cutscenes and dialogue to make it more "artsy", so the ending could be as vague and ambiguous as possible. So it leaves all kinds of plotholes and no closure to the series.

They also promised 16 different endings, where most endings would be vastly different. When in reality they are like 98% the same, with small tweaks in the cutscenes, and a different colored explosion.

They wanted the ending to be open for interpretation, which lead to having all of your choices not meaning all that much in the past games and this game.
