Yes, well, I had Ohio beating Michigan. I don't think I would've taken USF/Cal against Michigan.

Anyway, you still did fairly well...unless you had FSU going deep. That would be problematic. (Just watch, my "joke" bracket is going to end up with the best score out of all of my brackets again this year. It happened last year, because it had the champion correct.)

A while ago, there was some discussion on an ESPN.com board about which state would get the most teams into the Sweet 16. The person who originally brought it up was suggesting that Kansas/Kansas State/Wichita State gave the state of Kansas a great trio. Another person brought up Kentucky/Louisville/Murray State, and a third countered with UNC/Duke/NC State. I thought that the Kentucky trio looked the best of these, and also brought up that Indiana had four potential contenders in Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, and Creighton.

IN: 1 (Indiana)
KS: 1 (Kansas)
KY: 2 (Kentucky, Louisville)
NC: 2 (UNC, NC State)

...

OH: 4 (Ohio State, Cincinnati, Xavier, Ohio)

Yeah...nobody saw that one coming. (WI also has 2, with Wisconsin and Marquette; NY, MI, TX, and FL have 1 each.)

The only Ohio team that I thought wouldn't make it into the Sweet 16 was Xavier.

I mean, I may be biased, but I've also seen these teams play a lot. It's why I knew that Michigan wasn't going to win - Ohio just has too solid of a team.
