Okay, I have Devil May Cry HD Collection now, so let's put this game to rest!
So we're about to go up against the Daein forces. ...That is the summary of that scene. The MVP for last fight was Boyd. I can dig it. First thing I did was re-stock. Second thing I did was level up Ilyana, Marcia, and Nephenee to level 9+, then I leveled up Volke and Oscar to 10+. I decided to give Gatrie my other Occult. And then I gave Boyd Resolve. I gave Oscar Vantage.
No support convos, but I could talk to Elincia who is training with Tanith, who thinks she's awesome. lolz Tanith says that she was called the Great Demon before, and asks Marcia to confirm, and she was all "Uh, nooooo... It was more like the Great... Angel... Lady..." lolz And then Tanith makes Elincia and Marcia learn some ultimate attack. ...Does Marcia actually get an awesome attack now?

The three bros (Oscar, Boyd, Rolf) also have one you could have got a while back but you have to give Oscar a bow as his second weapon when he becomes a Paladin.

So Leanne is in the tower and HOLY F*** WHO IS THIS CREEPY AS IZUKA FELLOW!? He's creepy as f***. Anyway, we're about to fight a bunch of feral ones. ...Yaaaaay... Apparently the bird girl is escaping! Oh god, this is going to suck.
...So yeah, I pick tough guys/guys who can dodge well. Ike, Rhys, Volke, Ranulf, Jill, Calill, Shinon, Boyd, Gatrie, Mia and.... Nephenee. DREAM TEAM. Or something.
Well, Rhys keeps taking a beating because they can fly around everywhere and hit him. Luckily he tanks everything like a boss. But hey! It turns out Naesala is the one to help save Leanne! I love that guy!
And are you f***ing kidding me? Are you f***ing kidding me that this a-hole uses a double magic snipe on Gatrie and kills him when he has 40 life? Are you f***ing serious with this bull s***? This is absolutely asinine.

So I decided to play VERY VERY CAREFULLY this time. I had everyone bunched up, baited out the dragons with a few of my heavy hitters, and then when they were gone, I had Ranulf tank basically every god damn thing and clean out the area while he dodged Bolting and got Physic heals from Rhys. Speaking of Rhys, Using Fortify and Physic increase your exp a lot. I did not know this. (I used Fortify by accident sometimes. Arrrrrgh.) I had Ranulf finish off the boss too since he could kill him and I didn't want to f*** around. Dodged his S level lightning attack too!
So after the fight, everyone goes in the tower wondering where Leanne is. Then comes OUR HERO NAESALA (who has "I'm a dick" music playing for some strange reason) to reveal he saved her! Apparently he did it only to be squaresies with Tibarn for the whole "I'm giving the creepy fat guy Reyson" ordeal. He gets asked to help kill Ashnard but he doesn't want to. Boooooo. And then we have a scene dedicated to showing that laguz are abused by Daein. You know, because this is a point that has not been driving into our skulls endlessly by now. Ena and Nasir are still going to join us now.
I've noticed that I'm almost at the end of the game and Ike is the only 20 I have so far. This is concerning. Shouldn't I have more people much closer to 20 by now?
OH IT'S TIME Y'ALL! Soren doesn't even f*** around and gives us our stats immediately. Boyd is our MVP for some reason, even though it was Ranulf who dominated everything. Let's level up Ilyana and Marcia. Then I use my extra points to give anyone levels who are close to leveling up. So Shinon gets one, Gatrie gets one, Nephenee gets one, and then... I dump the rest of my points into Volke.
Calill and Nephenee get another support convo. Calill is asking if Nephenee has been studying her grammar and wants to check her makeup. Then she tells Nephenee she's ditching the helmet, but Nephenee thinks everyone will stare at her! Calill thinks it's because of her beauty.
"Well I ain't--" "Tsk! True ladies don't say "ain't"! And it's a dastardyly lie, anyway. Look at you! You're gorgeous! A splended face, plus that fantastic figure, and yet you hide it under armor? Ooooh! I'm so jealous I could scream!"
Calill's pretty awesome. Calill tells Nephenee that nobody will care if she's from the country because city people only care about themselves. Nephenee says Calill is kind though!
"Me? Oh. Hm... I guess I am."
Hahaaaa. And since it's the last chapter, let's get a few more support convos for people I don't really use as much! Shinon talks to Gatrie because I couldn't get his last one with Marcia, unfortunately. Gatrie is huffing and puffing and Shinon tells him that he's annoying.
"Oh, it's a secret." "Alright. I'll see you around."
LOL! Shinon is the best. Gatrie asks Shinon to stay and help him out, but then Shinon says he will, only if he pays for dinner tonight. Gatrie agrees. Gatrie tells Shinon that he's not sure what he'll do with all the money they'll make.
"Spend it however you please." "But every time I spend money, you give me a hard time!" "I do? How?" "What about the other day, when I bought the Ultimate Shield!?" "Gatrie, that was a castle gate. Hey, did you ever give that back? That guard thought you were a thief." "And remember the SpeedBring 4000? That secret elixir that boosts speed just by sprinkling it all over your body--" "You mean that putrid snake oil? You dumped the whole bottle on your head without smelling it first." "But that wonderful little potion worked! I DID move faster!" "You moved faster because thirty stray dogs were chasing you." "See! You're giving me a hard time again!" "Oh, did I hurt your feelings? Wow, it sure if sun to tell you the truth and have you grumble at me in return." "No, no! I didn't mean to... Er... Sorry..." "Hmm... You're too honest sometimes." "Hee hee! You're embarrassing me!" "All right, let's go eat! Now that's spending wisely!" "Yeah, let's... Wait a minute, Shinon! You didn't help me at all! This isn't part of the deal!"
Oh my god, that was the most hilarious thing. Why the f*** did I waste all of my convos on those other people when Shinon and Gatrie are GOLDEN!? I'm angry at all of you for not warning me of this.
Next up is Shinon and Janaff! Janaff asks Shinon to come over to him. Shinon walks over. "..." And then he walks away. They argue because Shinon is a dick, and then they mutually agree to let each other go. Hah.
And then Shinon and Rolf. He calls him Uncle Shinon, oh lord. Rolf is making Shinon a bow. "Meh. Maybe if I overhauled it... I may be able to... call it a... bow." XD "This thing is going to break the first time I fire it! You want me to go unarmed on the battlefield? Is that it?" Shinon scolds him and tells him he needs to do better. And then Rolf cries. "I love you Unkie Shinon!" Oh my god.

Now for Bastian and Lucia! Bastian is hitting on Lucia. He's very bad at it, and he comes across as any of Shakespeare's lead protagonists in his romantic comedies. Quite amusing.
Then we have Mist and Rolf. Um, Mist is terrified of fighting and Rolf is excited for it. Soooo good for them.
And now for Mordecai and Ilyana. Mordecai notices that Ilyana is incredibly skinny and pledges to keep her safe out of worry. lulz And that's that!
Now for info convos. Nasir and Ena apologize to Mist for taking the medallion. Whoopie. Janaff and Ulki talk next. Then Ike asks to talk to Tibarn and Reyson. And hey! Naesala will be on our side! Good for Naesala. Naesala is apparently not very excited about it though. Then Giffca (who is Cainigheis's second hand or something) talks to all of the cat people who are excited to see him! Good for them all!

I'm late to the party, but the real reason that Mia shouldn't get Astra in 9 is because Vantage is frankly a much more useful skill, and you can't have both.
Same goes with Zihark and Adept. Sure, Astra does slightly more damage, but Adept kicks in twice as often.

Elincia has to talk to us. Oh Jesus. It actually isn't terrible. I loved the cheap crowd cheer noise they added at the end of that. Ranulf and Ike got jokes. I get the choice to have Ike speak or not. Wtf why wouldn't you speak? He has a meh speech.
Then there's Ashnard who says if he dies, Daein dies too, since he IS Daein. Yup, sounds like Ashnard. And then I guess we need to learn to hate Ashnard even more because he revealed he killed his family to become king. lulz
And then Ashnard just flies up to our troops alone. QUICK! CRIT HIS ASS SHINON! But no, he doesn't do that. He just has.............. yeah, I was distracted by the number of enemies here. Wtf? This is going to be rough.
I HAVE TO BRING NASIR!? WHY!? And his ass takes one of my 14 spots!? Bulls***! Ike, Nasir, Rhys, Ranulf, Calill, Shinon, Boyd, Gatrie, Kieran, Mia, Nephenee, Volke, Marcia, and Ilyana. BOOM! We're good now. But seriously, f*** Nasir.
So after the first turn, Nasir tells me to grab one of the other leaders. HELL YES! GRABBING NASALA! GONNA RIP IT UP WITH THE RAVEN KING! I basically go to the very west and sweep up, then to the east, then up, then to the west again until I got to the dreaded ASHNARD.
And for some reason, only Ike and Naesala could hurt him. Boooooo. I loved Naesala's conversation with Ashnard though. He claims to want to work for Ashnard, and Ashnard doesn't buy it. So he says he's done with tricks, then says "Hey, what's over there?" CLASSIC. Naesala is awesome, really. But yeah, eventually I whittled him down.
Then... Ashnard's mount is alive. And also apparently Ena's mate. Ewwwwww. Anyway, he diiiies. And then Mist finds her medallion and gives it to Reyson and Leanne so they can go ahead and send it to Serenes Forest! Yay!
And I'm exhausted. I'm close to finishing. There's a save point before the epilogue, so I'll watch it then.
And for some reason, only Ike and Naesala could hurt him. Boooooo.
Nasir, too. But all your normal dudes are out of luck, which I agree is dumb. Especially since Ashnard has a solid number of converations. (Even gets one with Reyson! Good luck seeing that without having to reset.)

So Ike thanks everybody for sticking with him. Everyone has something to say, including BOYD who has been mightily screwed out of lines for the entirety of the game.

Calill is going to open up a shop with Largo. Neat. I'm not sure who this group is... but they seem like they were Crimea's fighters (since Brom and Nephenee were there too, but Calill and Largo were there too for some reason).
Then Ike chats with all of the Begnion guys. Tanith says she will report back but leave the rest to help reconstruct everything.
Marcia is going to return to the pegasus knights. "Cool beans, huh!?"
Makalov is about to grow up, it seems.
Astrid wants to join the Begnion army... and she thinks this war gave her confidence. Uh... alrighty.
Then Ike talks to all of the animal people. Ranulf is taking Reyson and Leanne to go chill in there place. Ranulf will be back to help out though! Yay! Mist wants to touch the medallion one last time. OH GOD SHE'LL GO BERSERK. Nah.
Ike wants to visit Tibarn and eat up. Ike doesn't like desserts, but he wants meat. Weirdo. Naesala then busts in on their friendly chat to say that Ike doesn't have to come to Kilvas because they don't let beorc there. lol Ike thanks Naesala for the help and says he did good. Naesala says to not tell anybody since he has a reputation.
And now the Daeins. Jill thanks Ike for making her not a racist. Haar falls asleep.
Ilyana is hungry. BE SURPRISED. Also, her merchant friends are all going to Daein.
Then Ike talks to Ena and Nasir. They basically summarize what we already assumed about Ena and Nasir fighting against Ike. Ike always trusted Nasir though, which was weird because I thought he was pretty shady sometimes.
And then we get a country epilogue. Crimea is getting over it, becoming better, and becoming less racist. GO CRIMEA YAY!
And then Ike and Mist are talking about how tired they are and how busy they are, and they talk about how busy Elincia is. And then they discuss Altina, who could sing and was important a while ago but not now. But Sephiran drops by to give us a convenient summary of her. OH F*** SANAKI IS HER HEIR!? F*** THAT. And then Sephiran and Ike talk while Ike's all "You know NO BIG DEAL EVERYTHING I DID" but Sephiran is like "Nah, you good bro." Then they teach Sephiran the lullaby. Ike says he'll go back to being a mercenary and Sephiran laughs his ass off. Ike says he's rude. Sephiran's cool by me bro. Then Titania summons Ike to greet the people with Elincia. Ike doesn't get it. But after Ike leaves, Sephiran thinks that bad s*** is going to go down and Ike will need to fight it again.

Mia with 5th place, Oscar 4th place, Kieran 3rd place, Ike 2nd place, and BOYD 1st with 107 kills! F*** YES MY BOYD! HE BE RIPPING IT UP! Of course, that still doesn't hit him level 20+ somehow. lol
Anyway, that's it! I had a fun time playing, even though I found time to do it was harder since it took a few hours for each chapter with everything I was doing. I appreciate everybody for following the topic, giving advice, and keeping this topic alive. You've all been awesome. I'd say it was a great game though, and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you're a fan of the series. I may replay a no restart at some time. I imagine it would go much faster, especially if I don't need to restart constantly and worry about story stuff.
Next up, I'll be making a topic for Devil May Cry HD Collection. A little different than this genre, yeah. And I don't expect everyone to be interested in it, but it'll be there and I'll probably link it in this topic when I make it.
