Nah, I'm pretty sure I've streetpassed with people playing DS games while playing them myself.

If I'm wrong, the alternate explanation is that what it shows you is just the last thing they played. So, if that DS game was the last thing they played and they've done nothing since, then that's what you see.

What I HAVE had issues with while playing DS games is activating my wireless. While I'm fairly certain I was able to Streetpass while playing Devil Survivor 2, for example, I could only turn the wireless on before I turned the DS game on. If the game was on, I couldn't turn the wireless on. Ex., If I turned on DS2 while the wireless was off, I or if I turned the wireless off while playing DS2, I'd have to turn the game off to turn it back on.

Dang it, my touch screen is already all scratched to hell. I had bought screen protectors, but I screwed up trying to put the one on the bottom screen, so I let it be. I thought maybe I'd get another one, but I never had problems with scratches on my old DS, so it wasn't that high of a priority with me. Kid Icarus has done worse damage in one and a half weeks than eight years worth of DS games...

Sigh... time to buy another screen protector...

I got the Pokemon White DSi. It was definitely an impulse buy because I already had a DSi but it's so damn cool.
