Also, I just looked it up. Their feet are blue because of their diets, but it's not krill they feed on (that's what gives pink flamingoes their coloring). It's blue mackerel, anchovies, and sardines. Also of note, the more the amount of these fish are available, the deeper blue their feetses get. <3 boobies and their blue feetses! ^_^

Exactly this. Vlado has no problem with women, and no problems with lesbians that I know of. He only has a problem with me, and like any journalist worth her salt, I can and will provide you with actual evidence as opposed to unsound theories about user x posting hypothetical topics about subject y:

About a week ago, user CrimsonOcean made a topic called "I'm so hungry" with an OP of "I think I'll eat some tuna." If you already know of Crim's gender and sexual orientation, this can be construed as a blatant attention-seeking topic, moreso than this one. And yet Vlado wasn't all up in that topic, crying and spewing ad hominem nomenclature because he obviously has no pre-existing issues with Crimmy. Or perhaps he'll play the "I didn't see it" card. Who knows, and who cares? I know I don't.

A bit before that, in the infamous "box topic" which I'm going to remind everyone that I did not even make, he tried to imply that I was being more of an "attention whore" than user Shadow Ryoko. Word on the street is that Ryokles once made a topic detailing her various sexcapades. If true, the idea that Vlado would even compare me answering a question about my personal grooming habits to something of that magnitude is frankly less of an insult and more of a blatant disregard to factual information.

Of course you're going to find faults with a certain person I'd you're actively looking for them because you already dislike them. And of course you're far more willing to overlook faults of people you already like because ~hello~ you don't want reasons to dislike people you enjoy.

In short: Bias. Nothing more, and nothing less.

In summation, GMUN, it is definitely not "fair" to say that I am an "attention whore" which implies I did this solely for attention when I actually did it because I love the bird. Yes the title can be misconstrued (and the posts therein might follow in that direction), but perhaps that was exactly the point! Maybe I wanted to draw people in with a misleading title and inform them of my favorite feathered friend in a lighthearted and fun manner.

If I enlightened even one person to the adorable nature of this clumsy little seabird, then I consider this topic a complete success- haters be damned. Peace.

So, since no one has any logical and/or intelligent rebuttals to make, I guess we can safely get back to the real star of this topic: the blue-footed booby.

I'll admit I mostly like it because it has a funny name, but lots of animals have funny names: red-rumped agouti, aye-aye, bonobo, dik-dik, piwakawaka, cuscus, kookabura, horny toad, dodo bird, and many more, but I don't like them nearly as much as the booby.
