I enjoy this poll's implication that either you're depressed and desperate for a girlfriend, or you're defiantly against having one in the same way someone might be right after getting dumped.

I took that option simply because I'm in college, and just go to bars and parties and hook up with women. Don't need a 'significant other' right now. It'll probably just bog me down anyway, for one I don't have the money to spend in a relationship, I don't want to get emotionally distracted either.

That last option sounds incredibly desperate to me too, worded pretty badly imo.

I can think of quite a few situations in which someone would be better off without a girlfriend.

Like a few days after a relationship that ended up badly, doubt you want to go back into one after something like that.

30% of gamefaqs are hardly in such a period. I can buy up to 10% or so choosing the option for legitimate reasons, but the rest are fooling themselves.

I'd like to be optimistic and say 30% of the site has so much game that they don't need a gf/wife to consistently get ***** and it's just less of a headache that way, but this is gamefaqs so that would be too much of a stretch

I'm serving and jumping from military base to base. In my situation, it easily applies for me. Girlfriend is a bother I don't need as I'm taking class 5 days a week and leading a platoon of 50 people through squad lanes and missions and stuff. Otherwise definitely would want one.

Broke up with my last one a month ago because i got bored with her like i always do with my gfs. It's just much more fun to be single, and you can still get laid if you want to.

To be honest it's not that hard to get a girlfriend if you are over say 20. Personally I'm way better off without one because I love to be alone.
