I was reading that quote out loud, but didn't stop once I reached the period. Even as I was reading it, I looked down to make sure the microphone wasn't on, looked toward the door to make sure someone wasn't listening in and still continued after the period just in case with:

who ain't quite been offed yet, you've got sixth sense. "...for finding them to assassinate them." Followed by my own commentary of "That's right Jack, there isn't a player you can't kill in this game." Much more awkward and a bit more on the nerdy side, much less creepy out of context.

There was just no way I was going to be able to randomly say that line aloud. If I heard a grown man giggling behind a computer desk in his bedroom (not knowing that it was over Jane continuously putting her foot in her mouth), going silent for a second, and then suddenly saying the original line out of context and in a serious voice, I know exactly where my guttermind was going to take that statement.

First of all, yes.

Second of all, you're probably still in Act 1 or early Act 2. It picks up a lot later at the end of Act 2 and throughout Act 3. Give it a chance until then.

It definitely does pick up. Have you gotten to the point where a quote is attributed to...I think it's Emerson? That's where things start to move slightly faster. It does have a very slow beginning.
