From: JaKyL25 | #150 So if this isn't a WM match I would be shocked.
I'd hope so. According to Meltzer, Kong had her baby on New Year's Eve (almost a New Year's baby! boo). Is four months long enough to get into wrestling shape after having a baby?
I am, of course, asking this to all of the pregnant female wrestlers who frequent this topic.

Save My contests are awful, without exception. Timjab is an amazing user, the eeveelutions suck, mark sanchez is the best qb in the league, and it wasn't Brock.
well, i can find a source that will reportably give me an answer that may be taken back afterwards. does that count?
though seriously, kong was never in the best shape in the world to begin with. lose some weight, re-train a bit to get the rust off. she'll probably be down for it.

I believe the Navy gives you three months to return to full-duty, assuming there were no complications with the birth.

From: JaKyL25 | #147 You Know You Watch Too Much NXT When:
Curt Hawkins's theme gets stuck in your head and you actually know the words to it.
It's not a bad theme!
NXT is kinda nice.
I often watch it but almost never watch superstars because these guys getting to do angle is one of the funniest things...

So when is the anniversary of season 5 of NXT anyway? It must be coming up soon because I remember season 4 ending before Wrestlemania since Brodus was already being a full time lackey for Del Rio by then.
Man, who ever thought when that big monster heel enforcer dude had to take time off due to gouging the back of his head open, he'd return as the Funkasaurus.

Mistake you're making - overlooking the fact that we might not want to be saved.
I basically tune in for JTG, but the whole cast is really growing on me.
By the way, when did Titus O'Neil of all people start getting passable on the mic?

My favorite fun fact about NXT is that when this season started, Edge was the World Heavyweight Champion, and when it ends, he'll be in the Hall of Fame.

Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://bryandanielson.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/photo3.jpg
I personally wouldnt be offended if the "competition" aspect went the way of the Anonymous Raw GM and they just continued to produce this show with the level of talent they have now.
Somewhere between the classical booking, Striker's "barely able to keep up" management style, and getting to see guys like Yoshi, JTG, and Curt Hawkins in angles I feel like its worth watching for the typical wrestling addict.

I like all the self-referential moments about the show's weird status, like when Titus turned heel because the season had gone on so long that his Redemption Points were now useless, or when Bateman and Maxine basically come to the conclusion that the entire show is some form of eternal damnation that they're stuck in forever so they may as well dominate it.

Yeah, come to think of it, they HAVE gotten a lot of mileage out of the weirdness of their situation.

I rarely actually follow NXT, so do they still bother with the pros concept anymore? I know JTG is on NXT a lot but I couldn't tell you if they've still kept each guy associated with a pro, especially since I feel like a lot of the pros have been released since the season began

Not really at all. Mostly they just wrestle for no real purpose. No titles, no anything, so they just sort of feud.
Over literally anything.

BTW, I remember saying at the time when Chavo quit "Aw man, I wish Chavo could have just stuck around and finished this season of NXT. It's almost over!"
Famous last words.

YOu know, I really should just start talking about NXT in this topic more often.
If nothing else, Jakyl will be able to comment!

I always forget Bryan was actually part of Nexus. When I was going to comment on how long NXT has been running, I was going to comment on Barrett and Otunga being the only people with any prominence from the first two seasons, then I stopped because I was sure I was forgetting somebody. Yeah, I kind of was!

From: 14_and_counting | #192 Actually it is eerily close.
The 2 best in the world and an ooverpushed roid monster who can't work or wrestle in both stables.
it even works with DB being the Bret Hart ring general analog, CM Punk being the HBK charismatic well rounded worker analog, and Cena being the Hogan superman face of the company analog!
It really sucks how rushed CeNexus was as it could have been one of the biggest things in the modern era of wrestling. It was the equivalent of Sting or Goldberg being forced to work in Hogan's original NWO.
