do agree that nattie is the type to be infuriated by this. but you pick out any diva not beth or kong and they'll do it. they've done worse.

I don't think so. I think Trish was smart enough from the get go to realize any publicity is good publicity. She'd planned the fitness angle for years, she was using the WWE the same way they were using her, it was just a matter of when she had enough capital/felt she had enough. If that meant her being degraded, that was the price she was willing to pay. I will agree with you on the latter though.

Edit: You'd think I'm giving Trish too much credit here, but I don't think I am. She seems like a smart cookie. That's just my opinion though.

Man, even something like the Trish barking like a dog bit would at least gain her sympathy when she finally grew a backbone. Replace it with a farting gimmick, and she's immediately a joke forever thereafter. In a way, the latter is far worse

That wasn't my point Wang, read back to what I originally said. FFD is the on referencing the past, I'm referencing events and those who have quit after that mark has been passed for the aforementioned reasons. Lita quit because she was tired of the hoe angle. Krystal quit because they tried to pass it on to her, Molly got out of the business because she felt they were degrading her as well. If you disagree with any of these, please show me where I'm wrong.

Molly did not leave for that reason.

And neither did Lita. Lita left because she was legit HATED by the audience, and that was clearly never going to end no matter what she did. I would assume the stuff she had to do was a bitter pill to swallow, but not at all why she got out.

Finally, I don't even remember what they did to Krystal, but unlike the other 2, she was a talentless hack, so therefore i don't care.

Lita could have gotten that heat off at any time. All she really needed was time and for the slut angle to have faded. They didn't do her any favors by continually putting her in angles that emphasized that over and over. Either they were lazy, didn't care, or they thought they were good with the results of doing it. The latter is probably true.

Um, you are aware you've basically agreed with me on her being high on her own self respect and as a result being more inclined to leave if she felt it was stepped on, or at the least being unhappy with the company, right? I thought the point is pretty obvious.

...no. she valued herself well and had a lot of self respect. she saw the business too and there is no way she didn't know how it worked. it's entirely possible that she was unhappy with things but it's far more likely that though she didn't like certain things about the wwe and women, she accepted them as part of the business she's in. and it's more likely that she was at the least satisfied with the wwe for accepting her decisions. everything after the first couple words is something you're making up there. you're seriously mixing up kayfabe with reality here and forgetting that she, as a real person, had been working in this business for years and has seemingly maintained good relations with wwe. if she didn't like them, if she wasn't happy with them, she wouldn't have returned multiple times.

I don't think that's true. If she just accepted them she'd have gone with the flow and that would have been that. Reality is she constantly tried to change the business for the better and set a precedent of how she thought women should be seen there. That's who she is, that's what she stood for. There's no kayfabe about it.

how did this even start? yes, the wwe women's division has a history of degradation and objectification. yes, women have left because they were unhappy with their treatment. other women have left on good terms with the company. whether nora greenwald left for the first or second reason (and I would wager the second reason given her dealings with the company after her departure and her encouragement/recommendation of Beth to the WWE) is completely irrelevant to your speculation on natayla neidhart's future based on a rumour for a potential future storyline.

I can see you're a budding wrestling journalist.

"Natalya Neidhart is likely to be upset about a potential future storyline. She may feel that, based on the WWE's past dealings with women, it would be best for her to part ways. We'll see how she acts in the future."

The internet is a cool thing.

And it seems like you just discovered it!

From: Dark_Spiral | #116
You're not telling me why she did, which means you probably don't have a clue as to why she left. I've read about it.

"Reportedly, she was beginning to become disenchanted with WWE, who began to focus on looks rather than wrestling ability. She also hated that her character had become a villain,"

From: Dark_Spiral | #122

Reading part of a paragraph from Wikipedia does not make you an expert on Nora Greenwald or the future thought process of Natalya Neidhart. And sometimes, it's best to continue reading the paragraph, because you miss out on good parts, like this: "Greenwald, however, stated that all of the a forementioned reasons are incorrect, but she would like to keep the real reason she left WWE private." And since you've "read up on it," I assume you're aware about her feelings on one of your points re: her malaise:

"Greenwald's idea would become the defining moment of her career — a match against Victoria in which the loser would have their head shaved bald. Nora lost the bout and had her hair cut off in front of more than 20,000 fans in New York City's Madison Square Garden. Surprisingly, Greenwald enjoyed the scalp job more than one might expect.

"Having my hair shaved was the best haircut," Nora revealed. "If it was socially acceptable for someone with my personality to have a shaved head, I totally would have left it. It was such a freeing experience."

So, yeah. If incomplete, ridiculous speculation about the psyche of past and present WWE women "floats your boat," you're free to do so.
