I've heard it's seen as the best anime ever, along with Cowboy Bebop and a couple others. The only anime I have ever watched fully is Cowboy Bebop. So how is it? The movies (End of Eva and then the new ones) add so, so much. Honestly it's one of those shows you can only form an opinion on by watching yourself, so I'd recommend you do that, especially since you liked the first ep. Yeah, this is pretty much correct. It's my personal favorite (although it's been threatened a bit in that regard recently) but it's definitely very polarizing, so I can understand people not liking it. -- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out?
