Keep in mind, to be fair, that it's not like Capcom is devoting all the resources they would've put towards MML3 to this, or anything like that. This is just a really, really cheap cash-in. It's just painful because it's a horrendous, completely artless port of a timeless classic with DLC.

I actually don't even think the DLC is the worst part, though it's probably the most classless. The worst part is that they took one of the all-time great games in Mega Man X and turned it into unplayable shovelware to make a few bucks.

Not really defending it, but I believe that stuff toward the end is the same idea as "buy 5 levels" in Tales of Vesperia or whatever. It's basically for people who would rather buy their way instead of getting them as they appear in-game.

Yeah, honestly, I can sort of live with this stuff. If stupid people want to throw money at a game for the sole purpose of taking all the fun out of it, let them, I guess. It's gross, but it doesn't actually affect me. It's the same thing as the TF2 store, if people want to spend money to buy stuff that can be found in-game anyway, so what.

It's still complete defamation of a once-great franchise, though.

Is that a fact? Keep in mind X doesn't begin play with the dash in the original MMX either, it's in Chill Penguin's stage. I'm fairly sure the DLC is just a shortcut to skip finding the ugprades.

The bad framerate could also have something to do with Youtube, so I dunno about that yet. you can only upload 30fps video now, right? so for all we know it be happening correctly and the missing frames are the ones where he's flashing, so it just looks like he disappears for long periods of time when really it's functioning fine.

I think its true but its 50/50 between the fans and capcom

Capcom dangled MML and MMU above the fan's heads then took it away, hammered MM into the ground and points and laughs at the fans whenever they can

the fans have become understandably angered by this but nothing MM related will ever be good enough now. The franchise really is dead of it will never be received positively by the fans. and Capcom taking several steps backwards with the series SERIOUSLY didn't help a damn thing.

Both capcom and the fans killed Megaman
