Well her design is that she's a dragoon combined with a red mage. You think it'd be hard to screw that template up, but then they make her a furry.

That's about it. Nothing interesting about her beyond her design, really.

7.9/10. I wanted to rank her higher, I really did, but after the Alexandria Escape she kinda just... fades into the background. Love her as a fighter, though.

Yeah, her problems have pretty much already been covered. Also, big ups to FFIX for somehow making the "Jump" command not useful or fun at all due to how slow the battles are.

Freya gets a 4/10. I don't like FF9's cast much, and while Freya isn't offensively bad, she also doesn't do much I consider good. Loses a point for a lame design.

I used to like her a lot more, but I kind of realized there's not much to her other than a cool design (rat dragoon heck yeah). If she had been given more story to work with or at the very least a few fantastic lines of dialogue, she'd probably be my second favorite IX character after Vivi... probably.
