I kinda want to start playing, mostly because I'm bored and also because I consider myself as a modern mmo connoisseur but.. I've never played WoW (pretty much one of the only big titles I've missed) so I kinda need to get some experience with it huh !
Why not try out the free to play part? Not that I know anything about WoW or anything.
Honestly, I never tried it because people tell me to avoid it, because it is so addicting. Then, there's things happening like people canceling things on me because their guild needed them for a raid. Therefore, I am scared to try it and so I know almost nothing about it.

35 bucks for all the games and expansions plus whatever subscription fee you choose if you buy it from their website. the battlechest comes with a months playtime.
Iunno, I bought WoW plus the the first 2 for like $20 during a sale sometime, but I only played the free week, not even the included month or two. I hope those haven't expired.
It's a good time to join up...it is super cheap to get everything and with the new implemented mechanics for endgame content even casual players can see and do everything.

I'm thinking Forsaken/Blood Elf Rogue or something.
Are WoW Rogues any interesting?
Rogues are okay, but if you have any chance of playing this seriously, they're not the most in-demand of classes. You might want to try a Druid or a Warrior.
As for race, know that Blood Elves have a reputation as the annoying children of the Horde, and Forsaken Rogues in particular have a reputation as annoying jerks, though neither is really important. The best Horde race is Troll. Everyone loves Trolls, mon.

Yeah but I'm only playing this game for the ERP! (Okay not really).
Also Druid sounds like a magic class, I hate magic classes in MMOs, it's either Dagger or Bows for me and Hunter seem to be a pet class, I don't like pets.

Druids can be offensive magic, healing magic, or feral. Feral is split between tanking and clawing at your enemies for damage.

I really think the new class should've been another ranged physical DPS instead of Monk. Not that it matters, I got out of WoW a while ago, but still. It's the only niche that can only be filled by one class.

Druids are the most versatile class; they can be a tank, healer, melee dps, or ranged dps.
My main is a warlock, and my secondary character is a cat druid. They're both pretty fun. If you're okay with the idea of being a tank, they're usually the most in-demand role.

you can have 2 skills, you probably want leatherworking and skinning if you're a rogue, but you can go leatherworking+something else and just buy skins if you want

it used to be near worthless, probably better now
Uh why? Unless things have changed since I quit, it's not like LWing actually does much for making you special gear, particularly in terms of gear only wearable by the LWer themselves. Not a great profession to make a profit off of either. And skinning is definitely the worst of the gathering skills.
As someone just starting off, I'd go Mining/Herbalism then worry about figuring out what perks from the non-gathering skills you like then when you have more gaming experience (and a LOT more money).

he wanted to craft, so why not craft gear for himself?
And sorry for all the questions but I might as well ask them while I wait ! According to the patcher I could play already but my '' experience may not be optimal '' prefer to wait until my experience is optimal so I get a good 1st impression !
