How... how is this possibly okay? I can think of a thousand miscarriages of justice that will happen based on this stupid new rule.

I don't see any problem with that proposed definition honestly.
Not that I'm stunned at B8 males making fools of themselves with the being hyper-focused on a small number of women falsely accusing men of rape while showing no apparent concern for the vastly more widespread problem of rape itself. Stay classy, guys.

How come this is such a big problem for guys on this board? Never once have I been accused of rape, had a friend accused of rape, or evenly remotely associated with somebody who has been accused of rape.
Really makes me question who you guys hang out with and what sort of women you know.

Personally I've only known people involved in one case, and I'm 99% sure it was a false accusation. Girl cheated on her boyfriend when drunk and cried rape.

Uh, where exactly did I say it was? Elfboy's point was that the problem of rape is far greater than the problem of false accusations, Ulti seemed to disagree based on the fact that "false accusations happen a lot". That's what I was disputing. Where you got justification for false accusation from I'll never know.

I do find it kinda funny that the new definition broadens it, but then one of the people says:
“This new definition will mean that, at long last, we will begin to see the full scope of this horrific violence, and that understanding will carry through to increased attention and resources for prevention and action."
Like... when the definition is broadened like this, it's not really going to make the full scope of rape seem more violent. Mainly because any use of violence is generally forcible unless there's some serious masochist kink going on. I mean, strictly relative, if you look at the full scope of rape after this change in definition, it's a lot less violent.

Didn't read any of this, but obviously if a woman has already consented to touching your naked bodies together, she won't call rape if you finger her butthole. Completely pointless thing.
