Like... when the definition is broadened like this, it's not really going to make the full scope of rape seem more violent. Mainly because any use of violence is generally forcible unless there's some serious masochist kink going on. I mean, strictly relative, if you look at the full scope of rape after this change in definition, it's a lot less violent.
