Prediction for the rest of the season:

Ozzy beats Edna in the duel.
Brandon gets voted out.

Ozzy beats Brandon in the duel, returns to the game.
Ozzy gets voted out.
Rick gets voted out.

Albert gets third place, receiving 2 votes (Keith, Whitney)
Sophie gets second place, receiving 3 votes (Jim, Dawn, Rick)
Coach is the winner, receiving 4 votes (Cochran, Edna, Brandon, Ozzy).

Crrrraaaazzzzyyyy.

Don't ask me to explain, but basically I'm predicting that Cochran looks up to Coach, Edna forgives Coach, Brandon was true to Coach until the very end, and Ozzy wants to give his vote to the worthiest competitor.

Jim votes for Sophie out of bitterness toward Coach, not wanting a veteran to win, and thinking she brought it better than Albert. Dawn likes Sophie more than Albert, and doesn't want Coach to win. Rick does whatever. His vote will be invisible.

Keith and Whitney are a pair and will probably vote as a pair. I'm only giving Albert their votes because I don't want to see anyone get blown out with 0 votes (F3 sucks lol). If they don't vote for Albert, then I'll say Sophie next, which means RICK votes for Coach, giving Coach the win at 5-4-0 over Sophie and Albert.

This isn't too thought out, so don't think I'm dead set on this ever happening. But I do think Coach will win.

Also, it's possible Ozzy will get fourth instead of fifth, meaning he probably wins the F5 immunity challenge, having Rick get voted out in fifth.

But, either way, I am predicting he won't reach the F3.

That teaser is killin' me, makin' it look like Edna bests Ozzy. I'm 99% sure that's just their typical "Let's Trick You," tease, but I had just said to my wife, "Man, what if Edna upsets Ozzy..."

Ozzy was terribly unlikable early to mid season this time around, but he has won me back. I think Redemption island has been very redeeming for him. He truly is, just he like said he would, "feeding them, then sending them home."

Needless editing speculation and lamentation.

Why not watch them in order? It provides a sense of continuity, a connected whole. If you're a fan, you'll probably watch them all anyway, so you might as well start from the beginning.

Eh, I'm a Survivor fan and I haven't watched Africa, Marquesas, Thailand, Amazon, Palau, Guatemala, Panama, Cook Islands, or Fiji. It's sort of a daunting task to say "ok, I have to watch 6 seasons before I can watch the season that looks interesting to me." If you eventually wanna watch every season and have no particular one that interests you, yeah watch them in order. But I'd rather spend my hours watching an entertaining season like Pearl Islands than say Samoa or something. Just my thoughts.

Speaking of unwatched seasons, which one is the best of the ones I haven't seen guys? I'm thinking of starting another soon. I hate Boston Rob so much, so I don't think I'll be watching Marquesas any time soon, unless it's an amazing ride other wise.

I finished Amazon a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it a lot even though there really isn't a single likeable survivor.

And yeah, I've been watching in whatever order I feel like for a couple of reasons. First of all, I've been avoiding seasons where I already knew the winner ahead of time, and if a season looks interesting to me, why wait to watch it? I've also been watching the seasons that have Ozzy and Coach because I wanted to see them in action before the current season.

Yeah, but you wouldn't know PI is entertaining for you before you watch it. Same with Samoa.

For example, this board generally hates Micronesia. Had I asked them for their opinion on Micronesia before I decided to watch it, I'd have probably wound up watching it last since it would get negative reviews here. Instead I didn't ask, and watched it first, and loved it. It's one of my favorites.

An aside: I find Samoa pretty entertaining, despite its lopsided editing. I enjoyed watching it when it aired and it's one of the only seasons I've watched at least 3 times now.

I recommend that people start from Borneo and form their own opinions as they go. I've often found that there are many people who like seasons that many others hated, and vice versa. There is such a wide spectrum of love/hate in the Survivor community that it's not worth taking the opinions of others as it ultimately doesn't make a difference in the end- you'll find what you like when you get to it, not when others tell you to get there.

Since when do people hate Micronesia on B8? I don't think I've ever heard that before. It's one of the best seasons.

Anyway, maybe I'll check out Amazon. I think I saw a couple of episodes of Thailand, I don't really remember. I liked Shi Ann in All Stars though. Even though All Stars is the worst season of all time gah.

I've watched every season since Season 1 (except the last one because goddamn... 3 Russel seasons in a row, are you kidding me Probst?), but I haven't actually rewatched any so I don't remember them well enough to rank them.

Wasn't Micronesia the one where Parvati had the whole Black Widow thing going on and James was such a lovable idiot? I loved that season. >_> Not my favorite, but it was genuinely interesting.

I used to think Micronesia was a well liked season, but a few months ago, all the Survivor fans here did a season ranking, and Micronesia was ranked 20th.

It used to be my most hated season until I watched it again several months ago. It actually had a great pre-merge, because all the fans were so entertaining. Too bad they just sucked so bad at the game. The post-merge was garbage, and basically ruined the season, because all of the entertaining players were gone by then, besides Eliza who was one of the first to go anyway.

Personally, I don't think it is really the order that is a huge deal, but just watching all of it. I understand that is a HUGE time investment, and not everyone is going to do it, but it is totally worth it to superfans like me. Even seasons I don't rank that high I really enjoy watching, and it helps to know the whole survivor pantheon. It also makes the all stars seasons so much better when you know all the characters, and that is the one time I think the order does matter, it really helps to see people's original season first, at least to me.

That preview of Edna winning the duel was off because in the shot they showed, the columns did not contain one of every color like I presume it needs to.

Either they are tricking us into thinking Edna wins and have it not be right and then have Ozzy win or tricking us into thinking Edna wins in that moment and then tricks us into thinking Ozzy is close and then it turns out that Edna actually wins.

I prefer the latter.

Personal favorite of the seasons I've watched is either HvV or Tocantins.
