Capcom should be posting the list up within the next day, S.Kill says Fuerte "got nothing but better". In preparation, here's what we have thus far:

The changes so far look pretty good overall, with a few oddities like Ryu's SRK change, EX Fireball from EX Flip for Akuma (wtf lol), and Cody and Gief getting buffed. Capcom also seems to have gotten a little overzealous with the nerfs to Yun and Yang, though Fei Long still looks pretty top tier.

The 2012 patch hits December 13th. Also, in case you don't own SSF4AE yet, Gamestop is selling the game for $20 (both PS3 and 360) until (I think) December 3rd.

A personal wishlist:

Cammy:
- at LEAST make it so cl.HK isn't negative on HIT. there is literally no reason for this attack to exist as it currently does.
- give her a normal throw range. as it is, she's got the worst throw range in the game for whatever reason. this would possibly be the biggest buff they could give her barring the return of tkcs (which is unnecessary).

Cody:
- reduce some of that damage or make his tornado less safe my god

Bison:
- slow down his walkspeed a little

Blanka:
- delete him

I know they were toying with changing THawk's spiral input during some of the AE 2012 tests, I hope to god they do change it. I still have it auto-correct into a DP every now and then and it's annoying.

like for real, the whole point of Fuerte is to be awful and annoying, as far as I can tell. he's not a good character with a lot of weapons at his disposal. he's just a god damn pain to fight. that's what makes like 3S Twelve. 3S Twelve won't win a lot of matches but he will make your life awful the entire time you're playing against him. if you wanted to troll the internets I'd suggest those two characters in their respective games as your best bet.

Fuerte's alright. He's annoying, but nowhere near Blanka levels of annoying. And GiPie's Fuerte is really fun to watch.

To be serious about Blanka, they really need to tone down his slide. Active frames, range, and how fast it come out are all kind of ridiculous. I can't really think of any other singular change that would help fix Blanka, he's just fundamentally flawed.

Either that or increase recovery time on the slide/make him closer on block, because if he does it from a mid-screen distance it's relatively safe on block. If it was easily punished every time like Bison's slide, it wouldn't be such an issue.

Getting to like B rank with Fuerte in SF4 was like the pinnacle of my gaming year when it came out and I stuck with him through the even suckier times of Arcade, I deserve some buffs now dammit.

Cammy can punish it (with a standing jab), but it's still stupidly safe. Not to mention the fact that Cody can space it so that it actually is safe pretty easily.

Rose NEEDED those orbs to keep people off of her.

That video just had some guy knocking people down with different stuff and then doing soul throw mix-ups with the orbs. I figured that stuff out on the first day I got Super. To be fair I didn't watch too far into the video because I saw all I needed to in the first 5 minutes. Some of the regular throw stuff was pretty cool after a knockdown though.

some characters just have s***ty wakeup options that you gotta deal with.

you can't have everything imo, despite what characters like bison might lead you to believe.

and that video might be focused on a pretty basic and well-known concept with the orbs, but some of that stuff is pretty nasty and i don't think i've ever seen any of those setups used. granted, no one really plays rose, so that's kind of a moot point. orbs are mainly for pressure now, and they can be scary as hell.

i wouldn't mind rose's ex scarf punch getting legitimate invincibility though, that's always been kind of dumb.

viper is mostly intact, losing throw invuln on ex ground pound is a big hit, but definitely not a game changer.

and fei lost damage, but that's kind of it. unless his rekka's are unsafe on block now. then he's low tier.

Demon Flip Punch (Hyakki Gosho) - Changed from an overhead attack to a mid attack.

Is this taking away most of Akuma's demon flip game? Looks like you can block low unless it switches to the dive kick now, which is the easiest thing to see coming. That's an overhead, right?

Well uh THawk got some of the changes he needed. That d+HK change makes the fight against Sagat possible, and EX dive being projectile invincible helps that a bit too along with Guile. Maybe the other moves might make useless moves have some value, or it might just be useless moves getting useless buffs.

Fei's rekkas should be unsafe past the first one, yeah, which means no hit confirm. chicken wing damage got killed and it won't do that cheap crossup damage anymore.

Viper game is all mixup so to lose ex ground pound to throw techs is a big blow. I can't look at the changes now but I think they also hit her tk.

the top 6 in AE all got hit with a nerf bat pretty good.
