Was waiting to see what the Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction lightning deal was going to be priced at then found out it was only $9.50 on Best Buys site right now. Getting a system so late in the generation is hell on the backlog but at least the games are cheap.

ah yes. so today was nothing special there. i think the highlight of the day was prob newegg for gaming with SO4 on sale.

but i've enough of a backlog, the ps3 version is better than the 360's, and SO3 turned me off hard enough to think 15 too much.

Tales of the Abyss thing worked for me just fine. one shipped. other one's getting picked up in a few. i'm quite satisfied with that little exchange. Cave Story 3DS is in there along with Ace Combat, but a lot of stuff seems to be sold out on amazon already like mario kart. but don't forget you have other options. like a million $30 DS/3DS games to pick - Nano Assault will def drop but if you want a shmup, well, there's your option.

helll, technically there's Skyrim CE and Gears Epic edition that can be gotten for a net of about 220 if you want to go that route. one is 150, the other's 145. a lot of $20 games exist across all platforms and are worth checking out. and if you don't know what game you want? a lot of accessories too.

It's for a friend that has no clue how to order stuff online and has never had a computer before. It would really just need to be used for music, internet, and other basic stuff. No gaming.

the biggest thing to remember is tax. for a laptop that's a good $20-30 you're looking for if you get taxed. to that end, newegg might work best if you don't live in CA. amazon might too if you're in one of their non-taxed state. best buy has been so good this winter that they legitimately might take a spot in this listing even WITH tax.
