i'd sooner convince you to get the newegg one or the best buy one. both are under $500 and both can play even modern games on medium. the more powerful of the two is the newegg one, and i'd be surprised if anything wasn't able to run on it for the upcoming year.
the $900 will run everything for the upcoming year on max.

oh yeah, the list cheapy made for amazon saying 'all day friday' isn't necessarily that. some of them have been that price since yesterday or the day before.
personally i want Enslaved for $10. i think that's the only one i'm going for; dark souls is tempting but i'll be busy with a lot more games.

no prob. though i'm honestly baffled at how so few wii games are on sale. it's pretty bizarre to me seeing how they'd want to get MORE traction to get thos egames off the shelves quicker.
i mean even the 3ds has more game sales than the wii this time around. or the psp. ....strangely the regular ds... doesn't have many sales either. i don't get THAT one either.

Got an email saying my TV is backordered and they expect to ship it in 1-2 weeks. I'll be gone during that time. I'm going to be on vacation starting the 9th, so I won't be here. My brother and mother will, so Hope it's delivered while one of them are here.

alright. went to walgreens today after my nap. got the first round of stuff. $25~ back in rebates, will spend it tomorrow. was cautious on what i got because i think they also changed their advertisement some. CVS over here did the worst of this by having no liquor on sale. walgreens is different. i could get marguarita mix for cheap, i could get wine cheap, and magic hat was under a buck/bottle.

Other M was so bad it literally killed the Metroid series.

Other M is a very bad game and I genuinely feel sorry that Other M is one of the two games Yoblazer will have played on the Wii in the last three years. Partly because the game is so bad, and partly because the Wii had excellent releases in both 2009 and 2010 before completely drying up this year.
If you want to spend $5 on a Metroid, just pick up something on the Virtual Console.

As someone who went into the game saying **** the haters and expecting a solid experience, Other M was worst major release game experience I've had this gen. $5 is too much.
Yeah, Muramasa is a Metroidvania-ish game with a gorgeous visual style and its dirt cheap. I bought it pretty shortly after release and its one of the few Wii games I still own.

Aside from DKCR, I'm sure you can grab any of these games for less than $15. In Canada, EB was essentially giving away Epic Yarn with purchases of Return to Dreamland. You're probably in the right frame of mind for Wii games post-Zelda, and we're about to hit a gaming dry spell, so it's the perfect time to pick up some very good games for a console that gets more flack for its line-up than it should around here .

So I'd rather go to a store and see if they're selling that version for sale.
I just looked at what the Director's Cut offered and I am content paying $15 for the standard version and then paying the additional $5 or so for the sole DLC

I bought Other M because its $5. even if the game is as awful as icon and rock claim, it's probably worth that amount in trade-in. so at the worst i'll hate it and waste an hour of my time. best case, i enjoy myself.
