What is with the voice?

As much as I hate to not be eternally grateful that Phoenix is in the game at all, that VA had none of the pizzazz that I was picturing the OBJECTION! screaming Nick I know and love to have. He just seems so powerless... =/

The voice sounds like Wright, but yeah the inflection is off. Not a big deal though.

It seems like you have to manage Phoenix more than any other character, with his little inventory. From what I can see you can only enter Cornered mode when you have the Attorney's Badge, which lasts longer depending on how much evidence you have. And you might need three of them to use that Lvl 3.

Hm... if you use MODOK's barrier assist to keep enemies from getting in on Feenie while he gathers evidence...

Huh, might have to experiment with zoning. Maybe Strange's double beam could also compliment Phoenix.

Nova looks like a boring kitbash. Nothing about him seems to have anything new or interesting, with all the cosmic power he has they really couldn't have gotten more creative with him?

Also since when could Phoenix shoot lasers out of his fingers? Oh well, he was bound to have a few "MvC2 Jill" moves.

I can't actually watch the gameplay, but apparently Wrighto works on a stance system.

"It appears that Maya will only be available during Investigation Stance. Much like in the game, you can only get her help while out looking for clues.

Attorney Stance (the one with the Attorney Badge) seems to be the one where you can throw evidence around, basically the projectile stance. You can throw any evidence you've found (the evidence at the bottom next to your meter) if you don't think it'll help your "case". You can also do the Judge hyper in this stance.

The 3rd stance, which I will call Pursuit Stance, is only available when you have 3 solid pieces of evidence. It looks like you're going to need a murder weapon, court documents, and some random 3rd object. When you have 3 pieces of evidence, you can use your Objection! If succcessful, you go into Pursuit Mode, where your attacks seem to have more range and damage. There IS a timer during this, and you CAN build meter. You can only use Phoenix's level 3 in Pursuit Mode."

So basically he's Zappa meets Bang. If you want to play Phoenix, you'd better be f***ing ready to play Phoenix.
