First 2 deaths came at 2/2/1 as I was testing out her various abilities and overall durability. Pretty much all the rest of the deaths came from Towerdiving for kills. I wasn't sure what order to skill with. I started with E since it looked ranged attacky, but it really didn't work too well for me (it accounted for my first death). I took Q next, and it was a nice little buff attack. Took W at level 3, and I liked it a lot more and ended up maxing it first as it also helped me clear some creeps and take a beating from the AI while I did it. This makes it so that, even if the enemy packs LW or Voidstaff, your effective HP is double the listed value. Leona has good base armor and has W, so she needs...I want to say 60 armor to have optimal armor, then either 110 or 85 MR. In other words, if you are buying a Wits End, an item that is purely resists and unreliable resists at that, from a defensive standpoint, you're doing it wrong. Banshee's and Mercs gets you to the 200 MR threshold more or less: you do NOT want more MR than that, as it provides diminishing returns. As for Armor, again, and this is important, buying armor just for the sake of armor leads to failure: it has to provide a great side benefit to be worthwhile. Randuin's is a good purchase because it lets you skull** carries with the active. Sunfire isn't good because it provides puny damage and is stat-inefficient. If you have a choice between Sunfire and other items, go Warmogs and Atma's if you want deeps: it synergizes with triforce better, gives you actually scary damage (180 damage with sheen procs and 30% crit is no joke), and beefs up your defensive stats to the point you won't melt unless the enemy team focuses you all day long. -- Currently playing: League of Legends, Chrono Cross. To counter balance this, she is given a combo that insta bursts and chain stuns any non-tank stupid enough to be within range of Flash+E. But when it misses or if she is somehow stopped from pulling off the whole thing, she has 7-8 seconds before she can do it again. That's a massive window. Triforce does more than add to the burst: it allows her to be useful for the 4 seconds after her combo goes off when the W is still up and running. She's fast enough to catch squishys and can stick to them with the slow. Sunfire Cape's pretty self explanatory. I've tried Banshee's Veil and Force of Nature but I've never taken enough Magic Damage to make it worth it. Even with Triforce, Leona doesn't do enough damage to be a threat to anyone. But with Wit's End giving her 1.3 Attack Speed she's slowing more and doing more bonus damage. It turns Leona into a legitimate threat that is nearly impossible to peel off your Squishy. I just played this unbelievably frustrating game as Ashe (with a Galio, Warwick, Lux, Tryndamere team - keep in mind this was a level 24 normal game) and I pretty much died instantly in every teamfight. Poppy just runs in with her ridiculous movespeed and ults someone and then kills me in half a second. We were fairly evenly matched, except that Poppy just destroyed us. Skarner simply needs to have the boosts the shield provides separated from the shield itself (or, at the very least, the AS boost should STAY on).
