A recent one, but most people who call appear as '' Unavailable '' anyway so it doesn't matter.

Oh I don't give two cents about them looking down on me, it's just that I have a hard time saying no so I always end up saying yes and then find an elaborate scheme to not do what I said yes to.

What I do is just not answer my phone if the number is unavailable or unrecognized, then see if a voicemail is left. If so, I check the voicemail a half hour or so later.

At my last job, that's what I would do whenever anyone from work called me. They knew that my phone was usually just on vibrate and if was at home, odds are my phone was in another room or I had headphones on. I would accidentally miss calls all the time so missing one on purpose fit right in :)

McDonald's used to do that to me all the time. I said yes the first time and then every other time after that I was like, uhh no, and just didn't answer. Hire someone new if you need more people is what I say.
