PSP has a much better translation but really weird slowdown which can be kind annoying. Still, I'd recommend the PSP version. It's got Dark Knights and Onion Knights and Balthier.

All are good games, the original is easily the best. Doesn't really matter which version, the PSP one has a lot of improvements and one big downgrade that more or less evens it out.

Mistake you're making - overlooking the fact that we might not want to be saved.
From: Azp2k32 | #014 Huh, I was under the impression FFTA2 was loved even less than FFTA. What improvements did it make?
Laws don't screw you over horribly and the brokenness is gone. It has one big flaw in the MP system and the rest is great.

FFT is a great game but keep in mind the X-Potions don't heal you all the way which is troublesome. FFTA only appeals to children with cognitive disorders. FFTA-2 is terrible just by being associated to FFTA.
