I've played 3... 1, 3, and 6. Its kinda the type of series where its best to skip a few inbetween so you'll notice the changes more.

Of course DW games are really repetitive, but that's kinda of what comes with the territory.

Still, DW7 was definitely a brand new Dynasty Warriors experience... it did a TON of new stuff, and very successfully (as opposed to DW6).

It did severely underutilize the main theme. I think it only played during the final boss fights of each character's story

and only when Kenshiro, Raoh or Toki were involved in those fights

also like Ken's Rage there might be a "Dream Mode" too to go along with the Story Mode where it's just their own made up story of what if scenarios

Actually zea, I did get around to trying it after I read Bleach and liked it after trying to watch it and disliking it.

Since the same thing happened with OP I decided to give it the same benefit of the doubt.
