Hello to all. A few of you might remember I did this competition a few years ago, whereby we whittled 80 characters down to one winner by various different rounds of competition, each one different from the previous.

I think it's about time to bring it back, and crown a new champion. I am open to suggestions if any of you would like to see a certain format for one of the rounds, all good ideas will be welcome ^_^

Rules
1) Nominate up to 8 Video Game Characters. There are no limits on characters per game/series, though to make it interesting try and be diverse if you want to.
2) You can change your nominations, but DON'T delete your original post, just let me know what you would like to change to.
3) Vote rallying/trading will be allowed, though no alt voting please.
4) Have fun.

Nominations will stay open for a few days, I'll give fair warning when they are due to close.

Don't worry questions welcome. Firstly, the way it went last time is that we had a Save My Character as R1 to get to 64, then I think 4 way matches in R2, and on and on until we got to the final. It won't be the same this time, I'll try and use a good mixture of rounds and have something creative.

Secondly, ashamedly I can't remember :s it was in 2004, before the wiki got going properly, so there's no mention of it on there. I have no way of finding out either, and don't want to guess, if anyone remembers then shout but I think that's unlikely.

We'll just have to have a fresh competition to see how it goes this time around.
