**Please keep this topic bumped! Thanks to Hurricane Irene, I have no power/Internet at my house and I have no idea when it will be restored, it could be a week or more.**
Welcome to the 2011 NFL Ladder Contest! I will be running it this year since BBallman has stepped aside. I've filled in for him a few times in previous years, and I have all the levels with full descriptions saved in a Word document. There probably won't be any change to the way it's run, although that's not definite.
Anyway, for those that are new or need a refresh, every week during the regular season you have a challenge. If you get it correct, you move onto the next level; if you get it wrong, you stay at that level to try again the next week. Each level gets tougher as you progress. There will also be a bonus question every week; getting the bonus correct adds to your tiebreaker score which in the end would be used to decide a winner if there are multiple people on the highest-reached level. There are no limits to sign-ups, and you can join at any time during the season.
As I said at the start of the topic, I don't have Internet access at my house. Right now I'm at my grandma's house on her computer. I'm opening up this topic now so people can get their Week 1 picks in in case I don't get Internet access back by the start of the season (and yes, it's possible I might not). Of course, if this topic purges, I would lose any picks made here, so it's up to you guys to keep this bumped. Whenever I do get Internet back, I will put up a new Week 1 topic and transfer any picks made in this topic. If you're making a pick in this topic, make sure it is transferred into the official Week 1 topic, or re-post it there. Any picks made here are unofficial since I don't have access to keep this topic alive or otherwise record any picks made.
Level 1 is pick a team to win. Just choose one team, and if they win, you advance.
You may pick in any game up until five minutes before that game's kickoff.
