Say a guy is in shock and a hot chick has sex with him, while he can't consent to it. That's rape. Another situation, an innocent girl gets assaulted by a guy and blah blah, I'm not going to use details, you get the idea. My question is, is the girl getting raped worse than the guy getting raped, or is it the same degree of contemptible?

"Better" or "Worse" are incompatible terms in this case. It's not an acceptable comparison in the first place. Just accept that both suck individually.

not really a fair scenario - the former seems to be implying two adults in the first place with one being attractive (and later you added that it's for comfort of all things), the other's implying a kid being attacked. regardless of gender the scenario in the latter is always worse, so it doesn't make sense to ask this.

Actually I think this would make more sense if you clarified whether "shock" is being used to refer to the medical condition, psychological, emotion, and the cause of it. Because I can think of a lot of ways where that varies (ex if you give some dude something he's allergic to and then **** him while he's dying, that's a lot worse than most other things)

If the guy is in a coma or something like that, both are terrible. If the guy is just surprised or shellshocked due to something and the girl puts the moves on him it's...not especially nice from a moral standpoint, but not wrong, per se.

sexual assault is equal regardless of gender, but if one of the examples also contains physical assault and the other does not, i think it's fair to consider the former worse. my thinking - if a finger was cut off in one case and not the other, Fingercase is worse. it's just a smaller degree of that.

Yes this is because of Nightwing. People say it's terrible he was raped, sure, but Tarantula was indeed just trying to comfort him after being shocked that they killed Blockbuster.

People say that's the same as a girl being violently raped, at least that's what it seems like people are saying.

Both are bad, yes, I just personally think the girl situation is worse.

And even if we move away from those examples and go the more equal scenario route, you have a guy that's raped by a girl, and a girl that's raped by a guy, both rapes are about the same, then yeah, they're equally terrible, as both victims are equally scarred from the ordeal. Except that unlike the guy, the girl has a chance of ending up pregnant from it.

I'd say a girl getting raped is worse based on the reason that I would assume guys would have the larger tendency to be physically intimidating. As in they would strike the weaker sex into submission.

Not saying girls aren't capable of this, but its less likely. If it were just rape and rape with no beating then I would see them as equal.

They are equal based on consent.

The guy is not physically able to give consent. Therefore, he cannot consent and the hot chick's actions, though we may applaud, are supposed to be held to the same standard as the other guy and innocent girl's case.
