Yep the shipyard was all-around great. I also realized my Denton is finally up to the point where I could probably go in guns blazing and actually win. Not that I'd want to though.

Wow, these spider robots are intense. Hard to hit with the sword, and it feels like all my range weapons take forever to destroy them. I have to save my GEP Gun ammo for the mission.

Try switching to sabot rounds with the assault shotgun, and attacking them with that. Much more effective than anything else against those things.

They're only good against bots, and using them against bigger bots will get you killed, so you haven't been missing much. They're pretty much just there to kill those spiders, as far as I can tell.

Also Regeneration+Recirculator is really powerful, I don't even think I need to upgrade Regen any more.

You still pick up the ammo.

If you're ever in a pinch, pick one up from an enemy, select the grenade rounds, fire them off, and ditch it.

I decided to train up on rifles and low-tech, since I too don't see a reason upgrade Lockpicking/Electronics/Computers anymore than they already are. Maybe go one more time with computers, but I feel like I already get more than enough time to adjust/look at stuff while hacking. I'm also prioritizing upgrading the Recirculator aug, in the cemetery I was able to let loose a little by activating a bunch of augs and it was fun being able to dance around bullets rush up to people with my sword in quick succession.

I'm up to the Catacombs now, which I've heard things about. Mostly vague stuff like "I can't see myself going through that place again", so I don't know what to expect..

catacombs were boring, but the game picks up afterward. There are some really good parts coming up, actually!

I don't know about that ocean lab mission. It felt like a bit of a slog, too much swimming and dark corridors and mutant animals. Plus Simons went down like a chump.
