Highly recommend Japanese audio unless you have a problem with subtitles.

Fact you may or may not care about: if you use a character enough in battle, their bios get updated more and more. When their bios are maxed out, you get a small scene for that character after you beat the game. So if you're a completionist, use characters kinda evenly and stuff. You can grind as much as you want a little later on so don't worry too much about it, but once you beat the game, you can't get dat scene anymore

Wait, what, really? I used Edy in literally every battle after I got her (I think I got her in chapter 2 or 3), got her hidden potential and what I thought was a complete bio, and I don't remember any special scene during the ending.

I prefer the English audio to be honest. I mean Japanese Edy is better but I hate her anyway, so I don't mind her voice being annoying.

The main villain is also a lot better in Japanese.

Also slightly prefer Welkin and Alicia, but only slightly.

I think the only one I prefer in English is Marina. Most of them are toss ups, though.

I prefer Vyse in English though. By a lot. The main villain did a pretty good job in English, I think. The Japanese version might be a little better, but nothing that convinced me to switch audio. Welkin and Alicia are a tossup for me.

So yeah, it's mostly Vyse for me.

I think the English main villain is atrocious. He sounds like some boring old snob guy... not nearly as devious or elegant as the Japanese one.

In Japanese it's freakin Jun Fukuyama you can't beat that guy.
