I understand that possibly during and definitely after the show, changes within DC Comics have been made. Female -friendly projects have been lined up to answer this very question. Because by New York Comic Con, no one wants a repeat performance.

We already knew there were other female-creator projects coming up from the DCU, including something by Nicola Scott, lined up for later this year/next year.

But I also have been told that certain female-focussed projects previously mothballed have now been revived and a numbr of female creators contacted as a direct result of the events at the panels of San Diego Comic Con, and Kyrax2%u2032s repeated intervention.

Batgirl, take a bow. You’ve won.

Now watch the books get zero promotion so Didio can say, "See!? Nobody buys this s***. Here's some more Judd Winick books"

I just had an awesome dream about the Avengers.

I stumbled upon them in... my old childhood living room. Don't remember much except that Clint Barton wasn't Hawkeye, it was just some dude at that point, I think he had a big mustache. Then a few things transpired into Clint showing up and vanquishing an enemy? I'm losing the memory of it, but I know I helped Clint regain his Hawkeye status and chase the other dude off. And then later we were in some secret place, and the imposter Hawkeye was there, still wearing Hawkeye's garb, and I was like that's not Hawkeye. And Storm showed up and said Hank is Hawkeye. That's when I learned that it was apparently Hank McCoy in a human form posing as Hawkeye, and I continued to say that that isn't Hawkeye, it's Beast, and Storm argued that he's Hawkeye AND Beast. Hank then took his human mask off to reveal... another human head, only bald.

Then I was in a small college dorm room with no bed, it was at the top of the stairs, there was two levels to the room apparently, very small, only couches, and there were like two young kids acting like they were cool, then a friend I was with (apparently it was Hawkeye) said he could buy cigarettes and smoke, and I added drinking too, and the kids got mad. Me and Hawkeye(?) totally owned those kids.

Oh I remember before that college dorm phase that Hawkeye became one of my favorite users on Board 8, so I decided to highlight him, trying to find a good color, but he kept disliking the colors, because they would palette swap his outfit and hair, like they were alternate costumes in MvC3.

Sorry for the wall o' text, but I rarely have good dreams that I can remember this well. My favorite part was helping Clint regain his Hawkeye status from the Beastly imposter.

Sad. I don't remember much of my dreams either, and sometimes I only remember them a bit, or for a minute after I wake up, but they're always weird. Dreams are never just normal, that's not how they work.

Also catching up with the rest of the topic, I pronounce Mxyzptlk as Mix-eez-pit-lik. I thought that's how I saw the pronunciation somewhere.

I have seriously spent $100 on comics in the past 4 days.

Way too much!

I used to spend $40-$60 a week but the guy I go with moved and I didn't want to make an 80 minute round trip to the comic shop alone.

But he's back now so we'll probably start going back in September.

And I'll have to start being more money cautious.

I was sorting the D books at the shop today and we had tons and tons of Doom Patrol nobody wants. The covers for the latest series look cool. I vaguely know the characters from Brave and the Bold and that one episode of Teen Titans.
