Carl – You’re cool. I first noticed you in the chat, and at first I was a little put off. Your obsession for Ryoko was funny, and to be honest, I did make fun of you a bit for it (and maybe other things that I can’t remember) behind your back, for which I apologize. Since then we’ve both mellowed out. You just seem to have this attraction to the women on the board, and, at least in my opinion, it’s pretty obvious to see. It’s no biggie, though. I like you. You’re a good guy and you know how to take a ribbing.

edwardsdv - I don’t really know too much about you. You’ve been around for awhile, but you mostly stick to anime things, which I don’t really dabble in too often. As such, the only times our paths cross are in user-involved things, such as UCA and the like. For some reason I think you are married, but I’m not sure if this is true or not, and I don’t even know your age so I could be way off. If you are, good on you. I have no problems with you and I’m sure you’re a swell guy.

EndOfDiscOne - You’re around a lot more lately, or at least I’ve noticed you lately. You have a very deadpan “say it like it is” posting style, I think. Sometimes it’s off-putting to me and seems rude, but other times it can be humorous. Maybe it just depends on the mood I am personally in. You seem to be one of those guys who is just around, and I have trouble keeping track of them. You seem like a chill person, so you’re my kinda guy I bet.

Maniac64 - We are both from Iowa, and it’s awesome, but that seems to be one of the only things we truly have in common. I’m sure we have other interests that cross paths, but you seem to be more passionate about those things than I am. From what I’ve picked up, you seem heavily into anime, sci-fi, and pro wrestling, only one of which I follow at all. I like you, and our Iowa bond is nifty, especially with you being nearby (Cedar Rapids, maybe?), but I regret to say that I can’t really say much beyond that.

NioraptH - Nio, you are the epitome of quirky. Your voice, your mannerisms, and your interests are quite entertaining, and you recognize this and run with it, much to your own pleasure, I think. I can respect and applaud that. I’m not sure what you are like in real life, but it’s clear that you come to the board to be completely silly and not worry about anything. Your lack of total familiarity with American culture leads to some fun conversations, too. It’s fun to have somebody as lighthearted as you around.

Regaro - I like you. We don’t interact all that often (of course, there are few people I interact with often outside of the chat anyways), but I’ve never had a bad interaction when we have. You appear to be a helpful chap as well, and it’s much appreciated by myself and the other people you help as well, I’m sure. You’ve reached a fun point of life and are a student at a Division I university, and I hope that it going well for you. If I recall correctly, you are hoping to go into broadcasting? Something like that, and I wish you luck.

GDiffuser - You’ve been around as long as I can remember, but I don’t think we’ve ever officially interacted. I’m know I’ve posted in one-off topics of yours, and you mine probably, but as far as expressing interests and telling each other things of merit, I don’t think it’s ever happened. Regardless of all that, I can tell you’re cool. I haven’t picked up on your personality either, but I assume that means you are chill like I am, so I’m sure we’d get along. I wish I had more thoughts, but maybe that will change in the near future now that I’ve brought it to the forefront of my mind.

RPGLord95 - I’m around you a lot, but don’t really know you all that much. We seem to co-exist, but in separate worlds. We talk, but not for long. All that said, I like you. You seem to have perspective on life that I have yet to tap into and find out. I caught a glimpse of it when you initially started coming to the chat. Since then, you’ve done your thing and I’ve done mine. From what I’ve heard, you are well-spoken, which is a great trait to have, in my opinion. I’ve never once had a problem with you, and don’t foresee ever having one.

CommodoreTN - If there was a personification of “frat guy”, it’d be you. And I say that in a positive sense. I think frat members are rather impressive, because they have all this time to be douches and have fun, but still get their **** done and are normally pretty smart guys and know where they are going in life. It’s something I wish I could do. You seem to be a polarizing figure. You have your opinions, people to back you up, and you don’t give a **** what the others think. I can respect that. We are different people, but I like you.

GTM - We post in a lot of the same topics, yet I know little about you aside from being Canadian. I’ve never gotten a bad impression, though, and I’m sure we are on the level with a lot of things. I have feelings towards you the same way I have feelings toward GDiff, those being that I’m sure you’re cool and I’m sure we’d get along, but it just hasn’t happened yet. We’ll keep seeing each other around, so we’ll probably connect at some point.

th3l3fty - The one thing I associate with lefty is a love for e-pop. Come UotY season, he’s all about game playing and placement prognosticating and everything else included in the e-popaganza. He wants to place high. He’ll put himself in the spots to get noticed. He helped out with the topics, helped tally, sat in the chat for the season, and other stuff that maybe I didn’t catch. That’s all fine, but it seems a little tryhard and can be annoying, and I never really see him around after those three months or however long. Aside from that, there’s nothing bad I can say about him and I’m sure he’s a standup gentleman. Just needs to mellow out a bit when it comes to e-popularity, imo. He’ll have my vote if he does!

Jeff Zero - Now, if you want standup gentleman, look no further than this guy. His coming and his going has been well documented, but when he is around, you feel his presence. Feels good, man. Jeff Zero is the Chaplain of Courtesy, the Connoisseur of Camaraderie, and the Benefactor of Benevolence. All grandiose juxtaposition aside, he’s just fun to talk to. He’s been around, seen some ****, but he’s still lighthearted and wants to share thoughts and ideas on the world. He doesn’t care who you are, he’ll give you the time of day, and make it seem worthwhile.

fetusbucketeer - I’m never calling you chum, as better as it is to say than fetus. You could probably post the Jeff Zero writeup for fetus as well and I’d be happy, but that’d be dumb. Fetus is another guy that I enjoy having around. He’s fun, he’s silly, he’s witty, and he’s grounded. He was my first proclaimed “favorite user on the board” but then I realized selecting favorites was dumb and that I didn’t have favorites, nor needed them. He’s a pal, and I think most people who come across him would agree.

rammtay - Rammtay isn’t a bad guy, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say there were some things that annoy me about him. The forefront is probably how belligerent the guy is. If he’s playing a game and he’s having a rough go at it, god dammit he’s gonna let you know. I don’t mind this, but he’ll do it even when nobody is responding to him and he’ll continue the ARGH speak and I just don’t get why. When he’s chill, though, he’s enjoyable. He just rubs me as kind of a brash individual, and I don’t normally do well with those kinds of people.

VincentLauw - Vincent is a fine young gentleman, but there is something about him that bugs me. He likes to CAPS HIS STUFF LIKE THIS or give off this vibe of “I really don’t care” when it truly seems he does. I don’t know if it is lack of confidence or fear of rejection or whatever, but it irks me and he should get over that imo. When he’s not doing that, though, I enjoy his opinions, and especially hearing him talk about Belgium. Belgium is an intriguing place. We have sort of similar musical tastes, but his expand far beyond mine ever could. He’s for the most part chill, though, which means we get along well enough.
