Menji, no idea... I've only had a couple of karma loss moderations in the last year or so, but I don't log in for a day or two sometimes. However, that hardly amounts to a 74 karma difference.

Heh, I don't even have 1600 karma and this account was created just several weeks after TimJab's. And TimJab's got almost 2500 and he's complaining about all he's lost.

Yeah, I don't have several weeks at a time that I don't log in. Sometimes I very briefly regret it but at the end of the day, it's obviously just karma.

Still, no reason to put a dour note on anything. Karma's karma, even if it's 'just' karma!

? Block is Level 38. You need 5000 karma for it. I'm still over 3 years away from it. I think that's the highest level, but I wouldn't be too surprised to hear another one was added.

Wasn't Sage the ? mark level before the site had been around long enough for people to reach Sage? I think they just make them as necessary.

Whenever people reach a new userlevel, it's name is set at ??? When enough of them reach it, they have a vote on what it should be called. They decided on "? Block" for Level 38. Level 39 is set at 10,000 karma, so we should get there in about 11 years assuming the Top 50 guys are still here every day for that long since Karma Boosts have been killed.
