Me too.

Only time I've ever had anything but affection for Henman was 2001. I know you could say the rain f***ed him over but he was playing Agassi-level Tennis in that set where Ivanisevic got bageled, it was insane, then he fell apart. Such a shame.

I think he'd have won without it, yeah. But he'd beaten Goran every time they played each other until that point iirc, dominated him completely at some points during the match, and lost where it mattered. It was so sad.

I really wish Goran had been on the opposite side of the draw in 01. Henman/Goran in that final would have been no-lose. Goran winning the thing was one of my all-time favourite sporting moments.

I think his crushing straight sets QF loss to Ancic in 2004 was pretty damn hard to take too.

I must admit, as much as I want Sharapova to win, I am suitably impressed with Kvitova here. For the most part, she's winning the match, and it's not Sharapova losing it. Plus she's showing a mental toughness that the women's game doesn't really have these days, not letting the situation get to her, especially after she goes and gets broken the very first game of the match.
