what i love about mixed doubles is you always see wonky formations like the I formation,

My friend and I played against a high school doubles team yesterday that tried to use the i formation but they didn't have the serve to make it effective.

It was the easiest match of my life because my two best shots are my two handed backhand up the line and my inside out forehand (very recently became my far-and-away best shot).

So when they went in the i formation, I'd go up the line. Then they'd wise up and he covered the line so I hit and inside out forehand deep the other way.

It also helped that my partner has the fastest forehand I've ever seen. Ever.
