What are some of your favorite games that you will most likely never play again? By play again, I don't mean play through the whole thing I mean playing it for more than 5 minutes.

First ones that come to my head are:

Dragonquest VIII - Amazing game, great graphics, great music, I loved everything about it.... I just don't really think it warrants ever playing it again. I listen to the OST a lot to relive my memories though!

Okami - Same as above, there was nothing wrong with it and I really enjoyed it... I just don't really see myself ever playing it again.

Xenogears.

Too much money saving at the end for the viable Gear parts was a nightmare.

Dragonquest VIII

If you were foolish enough to fall for the allure of sythes, it's a totally different game if you play again, correctly investing all of Yangus's points in axes.

I swear.

Any game, since it's pretty rare of me to replay games in the first place.

Civilization II. If I'm feeling nostalgic I play Alpha Centauri.

...Hmmm. I tend to eventually go back to games I liked.
A bit doubtful if I will ever feel like playing Metroid Prime 2 again, and that was at least a good game.
Maybe Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 for Gamecube. Don't really have anyone to play with for multiplayer on those anymore and I'm not sure I want to bother with their single player.

FFX.

I just can't do it. I've done everything humanly possible and even a few inhumane. I've played Tidus as a Mage, Rikku as a Tank, etc. etc. I've done every version of Solo and Duo runs. I've maxed out the Sphere Grid, killed the Arena, beaten Seymour so many times I just can't ever fathom doing it again.

Civilization 2. If I want a Civ game I'll play 4 (I own two copies) or 5 (yeah), and If I want the pinnacle of the series as it was in that general time I'll play Alpha (mother ****ing) Centauri (the best that ever was). Civ II is really a game that has been outclassed in too many ways.

^5 Gr8CyberMonkey for good taste, btw.

I can't think of anything. There's always a point in my life where I haven't played one of my favorite games in a while, so I have to go back and play it again. Even if it's just a bit.

I've played Okami twice, and it was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences of my life, both times. I doubt it'll be that level if I play it again. Though I have played it again since the last time I beat it. For a while too. Just not all the way through.

Um... There are some games that I will never play again, but that's because they weren't among my favorite, even if they were enjoyable.

World of Warcraft - Frankly, it's a fun game, but it's undergone too many changes and I have no drive to get back since it's too much work to be able to participate in and be good at parts of the game I have fun with

Radiant Historia - I enjoyed it immensely but I have no drive to ever play it again in any way, it left me very satisfied. Though maybe in like 2-3 years, MAYBE.

Riviera: The Promised Land - Fantastic game but I lost it when my house got robbed and it won't ever pop up at a local used game store's GBA section, nor do I really want to look for it online. Again, I'm satisfied with it.

Probably a bunch others but I'm lazy. I'd say the Phoenix Wright series but I've already played each non-AJ/AAI case 3+ times and probably will again like 5 years down the road when I finally forget the crucial details again.

Probably games whose main/only hook is their story, so we are looking at RPGs and point-and-click adventures.

Hmm.

I genuinely enjoyed playing The Bard's Tale on PS2, but I don't think I'll ever play it again.

GTA 3 and GTA: Vice City are also both great examples. Both were fine games (moreso Vice City.) If I ever pick up a PS2-era GTA game again, though, it'd be San Andreas.

The RPG I'd most likely simultaneously consider 'objectively good' but also 'unlikely to ever touch again' would probably be Final Fantasy Tactics.

Looking through my top 25... Don't think I can rule out any of these games... Maybe Aria of Sorrow though... Cause if I get the urge to replay a Castlevania MV I'll probably just replay SotN instead...
