They'll still make eggs even if the daycare man says they don't like each other. As long as he doesn't say "they prefer to play with other Pokemon", you'll get an egg. So pretty much, Pokemon are so sex-craved, they'll f*** things they don't even like.

So I used the sending thingey for the first time. I thought it was a simple transfer, so I used a DS with a broken top screen. Then I saw a crossbow and a score counter, but had no clue what was happening in the top screen oops

Also is the pokemon musical interactive at all besides one or two hand items like spinning a cane?

Reminds me, I never tried the Pokeathlon... I have to get on that!

I restarted a file so I could play through the game with Snivy. I also traded some eggs over early since I wanted to use some new stuff. I'm up to the 3rd gym, but I only just now realized my team is pretty weak to Bug types. I've got Servine, Petilil, Scraggy, Zorua, Litwick and Minccino.

My Axew pretty much steamrolled through the gym (aww yeah Dragon Dance)... except for that one Veteran's Druddigon. Damn Crit >_>

That said, as long as you're not hitting the dragons with something they resist, your strongest poke will do.

What'd be a good Golurk moveset for the Elite 4? The low speed makes me think something along the lines of Gyro Ball, but the punch-boosting ability kinda makes me want to grab Shadow Punch from the move tutor instead.

Getting my first playthrough of the game in now, picked up Black a couple days ago. Got my first Gym badge so far only. It seems like the introductory parts of the game were so small, I was able to snag that badge in under 2 hours of playing whilst catching and training everything I've encountered so far.

What water types are there besides the monkey? I hate the monkey.

There's Tympole in the grass after the second gym town. One of the fossils is Water, and you can get it after the third gym. You can get a Ducklett after the fourth gym. I think there's an in-game trade for a Basculin in the town with the fifth gym. Frillish and Alomomola are found from surfing, which I think you get after the fifth gym.

That's, uh... pretty much it.
