Yeah, I'm actually not too disappointed. I've been entertained since the start, which doesn't usually happen. Bunch of good characters, though a bunch of duds too.

So I've never seen Big Brother before but am thinking about watching it in place of Survivor over the summer. Should I just start with season 1 and work my way up or is there a different order I should watch them in?

Natalie sucks, but she still amuses me at times. She's prowling for Matt right now. I like Matt. I like James. Adam is decent. Sheila is decent. Sharon is slowly getting better. Chelsia... hovers around, not sure how I feel about her. Ryan kinda sucks, as does Josh. As does Allison.

You should probably start with season 2. I've never seen season 1, but from what I hear, it wasn't that great, and it's almost like a different show.

Hmm, I just read a comment on the youtube page that season 1's winner is determined by America's vote. Not sure if I like that very much.

Don't bother watching season 1. You probably want to watch seasons 2-6 before watching 7 (All-Stars). Then after that the order doesn't really matter imo.

I've also never seen Season 1, but I've heard nothing but "it sucks" and "it's nothing like every other season of BB" and "skip it." So I guess skip it and start with Season 2. Watch them in order, also!

It took me a bit to fully grasp how BB can be appealing, especially after having been so transfixed and accustomed to just Survivor, but by now I like it a lot, and have seen every season (mostly). But it takes some time to get used to.

From what I remember of the live feed updates (I don't watch the feeds), that bolded part can be interpreted more than 1 way and she wasn't the only one.....

As for my Micronesia rewatch, I'm just past the Jason boot episode. I was really expecting to like Parvati this season, since I liked her in HvV, and figured maybe my taste changed. Nope, she still sucks just as much as she always did pre-HvV. And it was funny seeing Natalie get edited into the season last episode. Yeah, ever since Eliza, Penner, and all the interesting fans have left, this season has taken a turn for the dull. This is one season where the pre-merge is so so so much better than the merge.

You know, with James coming back, that was kind of a lame twist. I mean, I'd have preferred James over Alex, but BB basically took away Ryan's week as HoH so they could add more shock value. And all for Alex? Or James? Augh. Not sitting well.

So during my first watch of Micronesia, Parvati was my most hated that season. But this time, I'm realizing that Amanda is without a doubt, the worst person that season. Amanda is just so condescending and self-righteous about everything she does. And worst of all, she actually thinks she's the hero. At least Parvati knows she's skanky, and there's something a little more admirable about that.

The last few seasons were totally lacking in the Jury House footage. Really disappointing. They do it like two or three times lately. Loved it when it was every week. All stars was probably the best jury house footage.

I've noticed that too. I hate missing all the jury house stuff. It was always so entertaining.
