A Shocking new poll by Maru Public Opinion measured how vaccinated canadians feel about those unvaccinated as just over 45% of them feel NO SYMPATHY for those unvaccinatd and get SERIOUSLY ILL or DIE with COVID-19!!

They believe the unvaccinated are responsible for overwhelming the health care system while 40$ found they are holding canadians back from having a normal life again

Just 1/4 believe the unvaxxed are "good people with legitimate reasons and concerns" whlie 12% called them HEROES of free speech and choice

The same poll surveyed why the unvaxxed, which is just 10% of the eligible population are not getting it as 45% believe in defending civil liberty on making a choice for themselves while another 42% said they are waiting on new data to see if it is truly safe and believe it is still too early while the rest believe they hve a strong immune system and will beat it with the help of FAITH as well.

Another 28% said they were also SCARED of the vaccine. Fewer than 22% also don't want the government telling them what to do while 21% are concerned the potential future impact on their genetic structure.

Only 10% believe COVID-19 is a hoax however and the majority of canadians believe in mandatory vaccinations at 66% but over 80% believe they should allow some exceptions with legitimate medical reasons but NOT religious ones

77% felt the unvaxxed should be banned from public indoor spaces such as movie theatres, restaurants, cinemas, libraries, liquor and cannabis stores

Canada is one of the top countries with the most vaccinated at nearly 80% of the population

The people who can't/won't get the vaccine for legitimate reasons, yes.

While I would think that a majority of Canadians are these heartless gargoyles incapable of empathy, I also remember that duck bears poll data is kind of BS because he also says things about how all these conservatives hold all these horrible opinions and I look around me at all the conservatives and it doesn't add up.

No one should ever rejoice in the suffering of another person. I know I don't always succeed at that ideal but that doesn't mean I should stop trying to live up to it.

I've heard a lot of stories of anti-vaxxers getting covid and regretting all of their decisions. I can sympathize with their situation, but not with their stupid decisions that put them there.

I mean it's not like I'm happy and start singing when they die. But tbh my sympathy for these nutjobs ran out a loooooong time ago so I honestly don't care. If they wanna kill themselves off then go for it.

Not having sympathy for people is a terrible thing, whether you agree or disagree with them.

They made the choice to listen to idiotic ramblings and cherry picked science that fits their narrative.

Pretty much these. They made their choice, they can suffer the consequences and become part of the statistics that will hopefully motivate the rest of their ilk to stop bringing the rest of us down.

I'd have more sympathy if they weren't actively harming other people.

I do feel bad for them. Stupid people don't necessarily deserve death, and ignorant people certainly don't.

No the real problem is our healthcare is so fucking broken that a hangnail crisis would cause our hospitals to be overloaded. Even before the pandemic, double mandated shifts for health workers was the daily normal. There's just not enough people and the ones that do work are either overworked to exhaustion or are too irresponsible to show up to their shifts and because the situation is desperate these losers never get fired.

China built a hospital in a few months, we've had 2 years of pandemic and we haven't even tried to prepare our healthcare system.

Fix the healthcare system and the antivaxers won't matter anymore. They'll get treatment and enjoy their 1/20 chance of dying while the rest of us get treatment for other issues.

I mean should you feel sorry for someone who dies when they were given plenty of warning and were just being obstinate and stubborn?

We should start referring to anti-vaxxers dying from Covid as "Covid suicide". They did it to themselves, on purpose.

If someone shoots themselves, we don't wonder why they weren't wearing a bulletproof vest.

Jen, I think you need to block me.

My brother isn't anti vax as such but hasn't had his jabs. He apparently has COVID as a natural flow test told him so. He did other tests that turned up negative so I've no idea outside of he has "man flu" and his throat hurts. It's not a shock if he does have COVID as he works in a hospital without vaccines so I find it hard to show sympathy.

That's literally the point? You lock away the healthy from the infected, we're done it for hundreds upon hundreds of years longer than Canada's been a single country.

I am not a toxic person, but it wouldn't be a stretch to say I'm vitriolic... I wouldn't make fun of the dead, they can't enjoy it - but the living I'll tell them how dumb they are for almost dying.
