Side quests are in development and almost complete. Character models are also almost finished and the team just needs to brush up on the quality a bit. Yoshida-san continued by mentioning that the initial focus was to produce the main scenario with a small team. While the total production period is quite long, the size of the team didnt increase much until plans were finalized. There was a lot of trial and error. The second boss kicked my ass. Losing all your MP when you die makes the boss fights very annoying on second+ attempts (I know you can turn that off on casual but I was trying it properly) People love the memes but I don't know if I could put up with this ridiculous tone for a whole game... guess we'll have to wait and see. I constantly had Mage as one of my classes, it's too powerful for the minor enemies. Or maybe it was just easier for me to use than the others. I couldn't get into Red Mage though. The partner AI was spotty at best. And I hated brutalising poor Cactuars like that! The second area was giving me major ~~Sunleth Waterscape~~ vibes from the start, it was only much later when I realised the background theme was a remix of that area's!
