Interesting. Of course, final weeks of seasons to sometimes have awkward circumstances if teams are resting starters or whatever. But with only one team getting a bye now, I guess that's a lot less likely.

Good luck, everyone! At this point, I'd be excited to see a bunch of folks complete a perfect season.

at this point Crescent has a definite advantage over everyone else. others are fairly even. personally i feel really good about this week next week and week 16 but iffy about 15 and 17. 15 i at least have several decent options, just none that really stand out. 17, i'm pretty much stuck with the Giants against the Cowboys. everything else is like a coin flip at best.

it's kind of funny because I've been doing a lot less thinking ahead this year than in past years expecting to fall victim to some fluke at basically any point so I haven't concerned myself much here

But yeah I'm in decent shape (As is my fantasy team at least until this week, and I took a similar approach there)

The year that I won the league, the point that I ultimately fell was when I tried to plan ahead. I had 1 more week to go than I had good teams, and decided that was the week to play the match-ups and take a team lower on the power rankings.

It was not.

I've been planning ahead on every pick I've made since week 7. I took the risk on the Eagles to save the Chargers for week 11. That's the one that should've cost me.

I specifically saved Green Bay for week 12 because they're the only pick I liked that I had access to for that week. I took the almost-as-favored Saints week 10 to save the Steelers for week 15, giving me a clear path to use Seattle on week 14, and the Chiefs are my "press in case of Covid" button, so I simply haven't wanted to use them.

Weeks 11-12 were the mission critical weeks I felt. The only picks I felt any confidence in were the Chargers and Packers, so I played around those teams. I felt if I could get past week 12, my chances of a perfect would go way up for being out of that midseason minefield.

Week 17 is terrifying if neither the Chiefs nor Ravens have anything to play for, but that's impossible to plan out. I would very much not like my week 17 pick to be the Giants.

My faith in the Raiders and Vikings has dropped, but only 1 team favored by more than a touchdown (the Chiefs) has lost a game this season. It's been a very low impact season for upsets.

I'm waiting for more information before I lock myself onto either one. Picking haphazardly never worked for me in the past, but threading the needle has worked wonders this year.

Putting my season on this sham of a Browns team. This is easily one of the least impressive 8-3 teams I've ever seen. I think the Titans are more likely to run them off the field than be in any danger of losing to them. If they find their way into the playoffs, any team should be thrilled to have them as an opponent.

I also have them losing to the Giants week 15, but I've learned my lesson about suicide picking against that team anyway. It's also the game on the Jets schedule I think they are most likely to win, unless the Patriots actually throw the game to them week 17.

Which they might~

I actually think the Giants at 6-10 would be more likely to win a playoff game than the Browns at 10-6. They're a team that doesn't get blown out.

oh this season sure, whatever, you're probably right not to trust them.

I lost my perfect season the year I won this league because I picked the Chargers against them on Christmas Eve and Lambo decided he didn't know how to kick lol

Going with the Vikings

Also just tried to figure out why Xuxon feels good about week 16 and eventually got to only one answer. Houston. Four people have Houston that week for an easy win. I never noticed them before now somehow.

Bears are toxic and I see the Panthers as my second best pick remaining in the week, but he's already stated he thinks WFT can beat them.

I suspect we're ending this season with like 5 perfects.

I think if there's no eliminations this week, all 7 of us are going to be alive going into week 16, and there's a good chance all 7 of us will be alive going into week 17. It's just been an easy season. There's so many virtually guaranteed wins still left for everyone.

I may not see another 1pm game all season due to working overnight so the dust may be settled before I'm even around tomorrow.

lol, they play all 60 minutes for a reason. It's not a great start, but it is Mike Glennon after all. The first td shouldve been a pick and then they held them to a field goal. I wouldn't expect the jags D to hold up all game...

Well most of it. The Raiders history at the Jets is horrid and Carr was there for two of those games.

I even pulled off the Raiders for the Seahawks in doubles and will use Carolina (off a bye, with CMC returning) and SF next week.

I gutted away from this game strongly.

haha, I've had him in fantasy multiple years now, I've been on the ride.

But it worked out! In the end Dalvin put the team on his back like he usually does. That was fun, made me care about that game way more than I would have.
