Holy hell, that top 3 gave me Super AIDS. Ocarina at #25 is also going to piss off a lot of people - especially since it's directly below Minecraft, of all things.

That having been said, I always love seeing Super Mario Bros. and Pokemon Gen I ranked high on lists like these.

this is why this sort of "objective" list is totally impossible to make

at least if it's someone's personal list you can be like "well that's fine, not everyone likes every game/genre, its hard to pick just 100"

this sort of list is just bound to piss people off because even with 100 entries, there are some absolute masterpieces and classics that you can't fit in (not to mention it has no character because it won't have any niche games, except games that are popular for being "niche")

This is probably the first time I've seen SMW at #1 and I'm not complaining.

an important game, a formative experience, but its appearance on this list is alllll historic impact

FF7 is probably still far too low even if you claim it's about how it holds up today.
