Full Throttle 05/14/19 9:24:29 PM #1:	Do you have one of the Top 10 or Bottom 10 Sexiest Accents? - Results (5 votes) I have one of the Top 10 sexiest accents 0% (0 votes) 0 I have one of the Bottom 10 sexiest..or unsexy accents... 0% (0 votes) 0 I'm not in either of the list so i'm stuck in the middle 40% (2 votes) 2 I'm not American 60% (3 votes) 3 The United States is home to several types of accents but none is similar to the other..and neither is their sex appeal according to a new survey that ranked sexiest to least sexiest accents!! Texas and Boston accents reigned supreme as the most sexiest while New Jersey and Long Island, New Yorkers were ranked DEAD LAST!! New York City has given plenty of marquee names from Lindsay Lohan and Jerry Seinfeld to Alec Baldwin and Billy Joel but not enough to raise its sexiness Fargo inspired both a famous movie and tv show while the Minnesotan accent followed close behind at the bottom of the list at the 48th spot California as a state made the top 10 sexy accents but from those in the San Fernando Valley didn't fare so well The infamous "Valley Girl" accent may have been immortalized thanks to classics like Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Clueless but all those "likes" and "you must be totally buggin" weren't found to be sexy. It was the "howdy y'all" Texas bumpkins that won the top spot while Boston, home of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon that took second New Yorkers fast and hypernasal accent helped them land in the top 3 thanks to Goodfellas, Annie Hell and When Harry Met Sally The study also found the Maine accent, that came in at #4 was surprisingly popular as they are known for drop their "r's" and love using the word "wicked" Americans love that "hella" word and slow vowels that helped California and Hawaii Miami made its presence known in the 13th spot thanks to the "sexy rhythm" influenced by Spanish and Cuban immigrants.
