Was having one of those stubborn wipes that never seem to come clean. We have wet wipes we use for the kids but I've never considered using them on myself. I feel like I'm born-again. My asshole is clean enough to eat off of. No remnants. Gods be praised.

Going forward I think I'll do paper wipes for the first wipe or two (depending on how messy it is), then bring on the wet wipes to eradicate and annihilate all remaining shit particles. It's a new day, PotD.

I've heard bidets are amazing. Maybe when we remodel our house we'll put one in.

My friend thats in jail always used to use wet wipes for every poo. Ill have to ask him how much it sucks using i assume air thin one ply sheets in the hole.

Just be aware that even flushable wipes wreak absolute havoc on your community sewage system if you flush them

We had one ply in the army. It's not fun. Not only is it thin and brittle, it's coarse. Won't go so far as to say it'll tear your ass like sandpaper, but it sure isn't comfortable.

We have a special basket just for diapers and wipes. Once it's full we take the bag straight to the big bin outside. Never flush wipes.

The water use on a bidet is about 1/12 of the water cost on flushing a toilet. More if your toilet is inefficient or you use the bidet sparingly. And you don't need toilet paper. You might still want them. You may not want an assignment towel or wet drawers, but even if you do use them to dry up you will still go through so much less tp. You may only buy a small pack every year or two.
