My point is that any such disapproval of Gaza has to overcome a voter's general support for Israel AND disapproval of Biden's other policies to cost him a vote. That's not going to be visible in polls that ask questions like, "do you approve of how Biden is handling Gaza".

Is any of the following actually helping Biden to win votes?

- Send billions worth of bombs, despite wide disapproval among Dem voters for Israel's actions
- Outright deny the human rights violations going on in Gaza
- Accuse anti-genocide protestors of being idiots, Trumpers, Hamas supporters, Russia/China bots, etc.
- Pretend that a significant part of Dem voters is just a fringe group whose concerns can safely be ignored
- Threaten critics with concentration camps or deportations if they don't fall in line

Okay then.

That is indeed the best option, out of the limited bad options we are given. People don't like what's going on overseas. Very few Americans overall want to be involved in any war and most of us don't want anyone being genocided.

But for some reason, Isreal has always been a... thing for a while now. I personally don't get why our country is so supportive of them.

But fuck man, we have a party that's super friendly with literal nazis and white supremacists and we just can't let them get the power to do what they want to do with this country, with other countries, or with the world.

So we're stuck with the Democrats. Who usually don't have the balls to do what needs to be done, but our system doesn't allow third parties to be viable. Should we make them be better? Absolutely.

But rolling the dice on a Republican victory would be a willingness to have all the terribleness and much more from happening. When Palestinians get bombed into oblivion, when Ukraine falls, when trans people get outlawed, when women lose their human rights, and when minorities are being lynched by white supremacists, none of those people will thank the 'good man' who did nothing out of protest.
