They never recovered his body, though there are some conspiracy theories that he was never in the caves in the first place. There are a couple of YouTube documentaries about it. If you want to dive there, you have to ask the caretaker for a key. He won't give it to you if you are planning to go alone even if you are an accredited diver. --- "But who prays for Satan? No way I'd go crawling around in some cave system where I could get stuck in a hole or crushed in a cave-in, etc. And then add deep sea diving to the mix where there's even more that can go wrong, and it's a big Do Not Want.
