The second one labelled the part of the character select where you choose your skin color as a "difficulty selector", but the only things that picking hard (which of course, was the darkest tone of black) affected were how much money you start with; whether a certian boss gets hurt or healed when she eats your character; and whether or not ~~Morgan Freeman~~ will fight you (he's the game's ultimate optional superboss). For everything else, there's a seperate and explicit difficulty setting. You could identify as Jewish too but it didn't affect anything beyond a tiny bit of dialogue. --- Do, or do not.
